Very Informative. One qq. How did u decide on number of partitions ..for ex 7 in ur case? How to come up with that number?

I my case, it was a client requirement. They had foresee that after some period data load will be 3 times of what current is. So to keep the SLA same they need to process the data faster...

Ur videos are nice. But ur voice is very low and there is a lot of background noise. Please make sure these won't be there in ur next videos. So that it would be interesting.

Hi, I followed it and created 2 partiion points. My session is taking data from source and transfering to a target. No transformation involved, just one to one. But what I see is that the target table has double the data. That means it is populating the target twice with same data which I don't want. Could you suggest the reason for this and how to solve it ? Thanks in advance. Khyama

What if source is oracle table?

that was just a hit and trial... earlier I tried with 2 & 3 partitions, but for 7 partitions, results were better
