Very Informative. One qq. How did u decide on number of partitions ..for ex 7 in ur case? How to come up with that number?

I my case, it was a client requirement. They had foresee that after some period data load will be 3 times of what current is. So to keep the SLA same they need to process the data faster...

Hi , Thanks for the videos, they are very helpful, just want to know how to enable partioning since I dont have this powercenter option, could you please share your license file, I am just going to use it for self learning, my version of informatica is 9.0.1. Many thanks Rahul

Ur videos are nice. But ur voice is very low and there is a lot of background noise. Please make sure these won't be there in ur next videos. So that it would be interesting.

Hi Mandar Gogate, I dont have a paritioning option in my informatica.. the license file that i have doesnt allow paritioning, I am gonna learn informatica paritioning again after 4 years .. could you please help me with the license file please .. any help would be highly appreciated .. cheers

Hi, I followed it and created 2 partiion points. My session is taking data from source and transfering to a target. No transformation involved, just one to one. But what I see is that the target table has double the data. That means it is populating the target twice with same data which I don't want. Could you suggest the reason for this and how to solve it ? Thanks in advance. Khyama

What if source is oracle table?

that was just a hit and trial... earlier I tried with 2 & 3 partitions, but for 7 partitions, results were better
