You didn't answer the real question. How can this new law be applied retrospectively on already filed tax returns last year. AND, is there any remdy available to convert late filers to filers status immediately?

Well it depends on FBR and authorities ... Second we do this immediately legally .. you have to wait till 1st March 2025 on basis of 2024 return

What about fresh filer, who registers his NTN now and file taxes? Will the person be late filer or filer?

If he gets urgent filer status now he will be as late filer. Otherwise just file 2024 return and wait till 1 march
