I was busy drifting off figuring out how to build a super duper computer to figure all this stuff out when someone dropped something and the clattering noise woke me out of my half quantum state with a shock:-) Thank you for a quantum curiosity stimulating video...

I could not agree more that quantum concepts should be folded into general education sooner than they are. I think the prevailing situation is very bad - we teach high school and early college students physics as if it's still the 19th century - we led them to believe that those classical equations are "exact" and that the universe is a "clockwork mechanism." Many of them (those who don't pursue a higher technical education) never realize that this is not the case, and if they are exposed to it they're incapable of embracing it. Those "deterministic ideas" become part of their mind set. We should do better - at the *very least* we should make people aware that what they learn early on is just an approximation, averaged over a non-deterministic process. Great video!

Cool lecture. Special thanx for covering interactive proofs. Clasical proofs are generally considered to start from Goldwasser, Micali, Rackoff 85 paper, and "quantum money" looks like an intuition.

Is this for a general lay audience or.a general technical advznced audience of scientists and or grad students?

Are there applications of the quantum symmetric or asymmetric cryptography without keys moving along with the message?

52:50 - Emma Goldman doesn't look very attractive to me, but... whatever floats your boat, I guess.
