Lyrics:
Here I am in silence
Looking round without a clue
I find myself along again
All alone with you
I can see behind your eyes
The things that I don't know
If you hide away from me
How can our love grow
I wanna know
What you're thinking
There are some things you can't hide
I wanna know
What you're feeling
Tell me what's on your mind
I know I could break you down
But what good would it do
I could surely never know
That what you say is true
Here I am in silence
It's a game I have to play
You and I in silence
With nothing else to say
I wanna know
What you're thinking
There are some things you can't hide
I wanna know
What you're feeling
Tell me what's on your mind
I wanna know
What you're thinking
There are some things you can't hide
I wanna know
What you're feeling
Tell me what's on your mind
I wanna know
What you're thinking
There are some things you can't hide
I wanna know
What you're feeling
Tell me what's on your mind

Gotta be honest, culturally I definitely see the 90s as a cultural golden age, but as a gamer videogames just keep getting more and more exciting. Even something like War Thunder, for its many flaws, is something I could only fantasize about as a child. And that's before we even account for upcoming games like Ultimate Admiral, Dreadnoughts, or other available games that are already pretty fun and have so much exciting stuff coming down the pike, like like Uboat. The 90s have plenty of games that have stood the test of time, but there just wasn't the processing power for some of the incredible stuff out now, nor was a fast enough internet connection widely available for online multiplayer (although I missed out on the LAN scene, that must have been fun)

I swear to God this generation missed out big back when music videos were an essential part of the music. It truly was a magical time back in the 80s and early 90s. Not only did you have great music but you also had great expression by the very artist that made the music. I'm really thankful that KZbin exist because these music videos will never be lost somebody has them on digital and will upload them even if they're taken down by copyrights someone will re-upload them somewhere the music videos will never die it's 2020 and I'm still watching this video that I saw back in the late 80s there's something to that music is alive and it is truly immortal.

This totally brings back memories of growing up in South Florida, cruising A1A boulevard and hanging out booming our car audio systems. This first time I heard this song was 1989 in a Iroc Z28 on tape with 2 Rockford Fosgate 15's and a massive Earthquake amp. The whole car was shaking and I loved it. From that moment on it hooked me on Techno and Bass. To this day its had a huge influence on me and my career. This by far is my favorite song in the world. Thanks for making this music and having this as an uploaded music video!

My cousin had his pickup truck loaded with four 15" Cerwin Vegas in a custom-built enclosure. It would rattle my teeth. He also had a roof-mounted cassette player that would slide out a tray for the cassette to go in, then slide it back in, with an additional equalizer mounted on the roof. My car, by contrast, got the super duper dual 6x9 Jensens... haha... Good times. Thanks for your story!

I gotta say, I would love to hear a new version of this song with Star Trek: The Next Generation, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, and Star Trek: Voyager sound clips. I mean, the Star Trek: The Original Series clips were half the reason I fell in love with this song in the first place. Just an absolutely genius subtle touch to throw in. -- or get Lower Decks to pay homage to this song.

This song and many others from the 80s, A-Ha, Spandau Ballet, New Order, Human League, Depeche Mode, Duran Duran, INXS, Culture Club, etc man the list goes on...music being produced nowadays cannot hold a candle up to them. Heck, if you can even call it music nowadays.

I know, there is something creative in the water in the Land of 10,000 Lakes. At their time the other marquee bands in the local scene included The Suicide Commandos, The Flaming O's, The Replacements, and Husker Du, Soul Asylum, with the occasional appearances by Prince and Bob Dylan.
