Were you scanning any bigger stripers down town deeper down to drop a jigging spoon to then fast to try to avoid the shakers? It helped me at times to get through the shakers.

Watching this video has been helpful. Not just with Delta fishing, but how to get a backlash out of your reel. Until now I've been keeping a crochet needle in my tackle box to pick out the loops. Cooche's method is so much easier! Saw somewhere where someone said RIP for Cooch. I share those same condolences.
