I caught my PB this past Sunday, an 8 lb and my son (8 years old) caught his PB of 5 lb two days ago. Mine was on a YUM dinger and I believe his was the same. Both were caught in old farm ponds and the funny thing is, the usual bass caught in these ponds are around 1-2 lb. I was like a kid at Christmas. My new goal is a 10 lb or better.

Use 100% Flourocarbon line, throw a larger size of Senko... buy a 6" size and use a gold fleck on a brown plastic or a purple and black fleck with a 2 tone color of REAL Yamamoto Senko... more salt throws farther and throw it a foot up onto the bank and Jiggle your audio lightly and let it slither off into the water so there is no splash you will Catch more fish and bigger ones I promise... real Yamamoto Senko's really sinks nicely... in a rocking chair gliding type back and forth motion... softer plastic too on them..then... trust me... Also by yourself a couple of 4 " bluegill swimbait with top hooks and soft body segmented. More Realistic the better. The 10 or 15 dollar ones are ok... Use some type of paste lure scempt like Vaseline consistency to to rub on the Bates Before you throw them they will be more weedless and fish weighing on to the monger longer translate with that line and Mike Yourself hold your rod tip at 10 o'clock all the time real slowly figure out which one paddles the best while you're reeling it slowly and use that 1 Use a good 20 pound or 25 pound FLOUROCARBON line for that thing and learn how to tie a PALOMAR KNOT... PLEASE.... Throw your swim bait up onto the bank also

I wish the quality of the hard baits was better. Feels cheap. Why throw the rocker head over a biffle head?
