This is good news, but need more MNCs like Amazon, Microsoft, SAPLabs etc. I see no area where bengal should be lacking if government puts in right effort, be it living conditions, be it culture, Kolkata is unmatchable, should use intellectual brains to bring back the big brands to Kolkata again... Unlike many I feel software is the future, manufacturing may be good but in future automation will not create as many jobs as people expect in mfg. Also software and services sector can be sustainably developed easily, with minimum pollution effects unlike industry.

all 3 companies has some existence in Kolkata saplab is there in Kolkata www.sap.com/india/about/company/office-locations/india.html amazon has started one edge location from kolkata aws.amazon.com/about-aws/whats-new/2020/05/cloudfront-kolkata-hamburg/ even Microsoft has small setup in Kolkata and they hire in 100's from Kolkata in this year www.microsoft.com/en-in/about/contact-us now in sillicon valley they are doing partnership with reliance for azure data centre so i hope it answer your question these companies has existence now in Kolkata what they need is good infrastructure i think Newton's is providing it and a good resource and from our end hardwork and less negativity

@@TechFirdous bhai some existence and setting up a tech campus er moddhe diff ache , seta bojho.. ekta choto office khule bose gele ota t kotojon r employment hoi and ki type er chakri hoi ektu khoj nao bujhte parbe.... SAP labs bangalore a notun r ekta campus banachhe , ota ekhaneo hote parto maybe , that's what I meant by govt support. Good that tumi positive side dekhachho , but tar mne eta na everything is rosy, then eto bochor dhore time lagto na koekta company anar jonne...

i understand that's why government took initiative because they also know if they don't take any step people will make them step down from power but we should also see positive things like they did take some initiative to being infosys by converting lease property into freehold same thing they did for wipro and itcinfotech and silicon valley initiative where many big companies are setting up there dedicated campus around 60 company will work from there from 2026. so though in past they were (current and past governments) were not active but in past 3 years i see many mncs had setup in Kolkata and i next 3 year i am very hopeful the it head count will be double in Kolkata not telling lie to you most of my friends who was working from noida, Bangalore,pune etc who want to come back to Kolkata had came back and with the good salary. rest people do have different opinions and i respect every person opinion

@@AbhishekKumar-rq1ib you will get very less pg as compare to Pune, BLR, Hyderabad. You can search behind Karigari Bhawan, and in new town action area 2,3 better to get 1 bhk flat in shapoorji
