Idk about Elizabeth Bennet being an INFP. I, personally, always thought that Jane was an INFP just from the way she always sees the good in others because I definitely do that as an INFP myself but my brain is mush when it comes to the functions and stuff and I haven’t done any deep analysis into it or anything so idk

Hello! I understand your opinion. It's difficult to understand the type of a fictional character because you can't ask him or her some important direct questions. That's why I'm not sure of some character being in this INFP list too. But Luna is one of my favourite characters. Don't you mind me sharing my analysis about her here? I am an INFP and I know only a few INTPs, so I can be not so right about INTP type. First of all I recommend KZbin channel "Sara MBTI". She made great analysis of INTPs and INFPs. Luna has her own unique way of expressing herself. She has the whole universe in her head and her own philosophy. And she feels the need to share her dreams and ideas with others, she doesn't avoid it as in case with deamon Fe in INTP: "Don't worry, you are just sane as I am" - she started that conversation first. That famous scene with her shoes when she helped Harry Potter in her unique way - she let him find the answer himself, she gave him only a path - that's the way how INFPs usually help others. As I understand - Ti is about collecting data and analyzing it. Even though Thinking function is introverted in INTP, it still means searching for a clear evidence, using objective logic. Luna believes in Nargles just because they are in her fantasies. INTPs are quite reserved and they don't let others to open their inner world of emotions. Luna is comfortable with sharing her emotions and feelings: "Yes, it was rather horrible," said Luna conversationally. "I still feel very sad about it sometimes. But I’ve still got Dad. And anyway, it’s not as though I’ll never see Mum again, is it?". She expresses herself even though she understands (because of Te) that the tribe think she is "... a bit odd". I don't mean that INTPs aren't emotional. They are but usually they hide their opinions and emotions inside. They don't pay much attention on other people just because they aren't usually interested. I met a lot of INTPs in engineering and computer science clubs. They were so talented. I was a journalist and they didn't really want to chat and answer my questions, I felt that vibe. And I don't mean that INFPs aren't logical. They are but it's not natural for them. They can develop Te. Ones 4w5 on Enneagramm are also really intelligent. Luna is in Ravenclaw: "'Well then, I think the answer is that a circle has no beginning.' 'Well reasoned,' said the voice, and the door swung open." Some INFP quotes from Luna "Being different isn't a bad thing. It means you're brave enough to be yourself " - totally healthy INFP thought. "I've interrupted a deep thought, haven't I? I can see it growing smaller in your eyes." - she reads people well. It's important for her to be aware of other people feelings and give them free space for their individuality. "I believe He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named is back, and I believe you fought him and escaped from him." - She even says "believe" instead of "think" that means that it's her feeling and intuition not logic. "Which came first, the phoenix or the flame?' 'Hmm . . . What do you think, Harry?' said Luna, looking thoughtful". - it's important for her to understand his opinion, just like an INFP does. I think that INTP as with Fe deamon isn't so interested in it. "My mum always said things we lose have a way of coming back to us in the end. If not always in the ways we expect" - in my opinion that's an example of a strong belief and Si using. Thank you for reading 😊. @@maryya6676 I understand your stance and your explanations actually made sense, but it is still weird to me a bit, because some of the ways she expresses her emotions is not how I would think an Fi dom would express them, and her logic sometimes feels like Ti. "Yes, it was rather horrible," said Luna conversationally. The blunt way she says it in the movie makes it look too much like an inferior Fe for example. So I think you might be right with the INFP typing here, but it feels like her dom and inferior keeps constantly switching from Fi to Ti and from Te to Fe The main reason for this is , of course because she wasn't written as a character taking mbti into consideration, and we only see a more general intuitive, identity-over-tribe character.

@@Partor6 Yeah you are totally right, well reasoned :) Actually Luna in movies and Luna in books is different so it's impossible to judge objectively. MBTI isn't that flexible so most of the typings are based on "I think/feel so... but it may be so..." As INFP I can say that Luna's way of expressing often looks like Fi, because she is almost always in her dreams (me too) and disconnected from the reality. That's why that dreamy slow blunt voice is. To summarize... Yeah, your summary in the las paragraph is perfect, nothing to add. May I ask you what is your type? Are you an INTP?
