I've never heard another song like this and I could listen to it in a loop all day.

This is a very special song for me. I went on a memorable cheap 2 week long solo surfing trip in the early 2000's up the east coast of Australia, visiting many spots Id heard about over the years and sleeping in the back of my car. Id surfed a deserted break at Cresent head till dusk and then headed north to Byron Bay. I was running very late and I had triple J on the radio, and around 11pm this song came on and I was just in love with it. When it ended I pulled to the side of the highway to write down some of the lyrics I could remember then carried on. But while I was in the ocean, I kept having this song pop into my head and it became the theme to this trip. It took almost 10 years until I finally found what the song was. Every year or so it would bother me enough that Id spend hours searching the internet without success, the lyrics I wrote down werent enough and it was very frustrating. It wasnt until my missus got me to try to sing to her what I could remember of it that I finally remembered enough of the lyrics to get a successful hit online. I went out and bought the album that same week. This song reminds me of waking to spectacular breaks at dawn, surfing deep inside clean barrels, and visiting beautiful places like Noosa Heads for the first time with only a bag of clothes and a board in my car. I was so excited to leave I forgot my pillow and sleeping bag, so only had a beach towel for a pillow and board bag to sleep in for the first couple of nights.

@@Jedda73 it seems to have disappeared from Spotify, apart from a remix that sounds nothing like this one 🙁. It's wierd, considering Infusion themselves are still very much on Spotify.

Aquaman knows what to do Days seem shorter than they are Finished counting all the stars Feel the gears wind down again Another paycheck to cash in May the lord of flesh and bone Leave you some to call your own As we slowly feel our way Through another shapeless day Up the hill to sow some seed Nostalgia's warmth is all we need Past dissapointments turn to steam We're superheros, in our dreams Throw the radio up high Watch it drown out half the sky Synaesthesia coloured blue Aquaman knows what to do The secrets that we keep Send our children fast asleep Keep your head lights nice and low It's a subtle tempting show Through the windsweep we can see A cinematic legacy Leaving cities paved with gold To pilot frigates through our souls
