Thank you for the series on Infusions. I just received a set of colors and you’ve giving me all kinds of ways to use them other than as backgrounds. I love your clear directions. You’re a great teacher!

Thank you very, very much Linda! You are very kind and I'm very happy that you liked it :) In case you are interested, even if you have them already, I'm running a giveaway both in youtube and in facebook so I'll be giving away 2 Infusions this Friday. To participate in the KZbin raffle, just subscribe to my youtube channel and leave a comment in my latest video. In that video you can also find instructions to the Facebook raffle too. Looking forward to hear more from you. Have a lovely evening!

Tracey Rentcome it works now! I don't know how, but it got fixed itself. Thanks for letting me know! I was about to re-upload it tonight, but I managed to see it all ok so no need for me to take action, phew! Thanks again and have a lovely evening!! Raquel

Brilliant video, thanks so much, I am thrilled I can share this with our retailers and customers - you listened so well to my explanation of this product! Thank you for making such a great video! ~ Leandra
@scrapcosy8 жыл бұрын
Thanks so much Leandra! I enjoyed a lot the make and take, you're a great teacher :) Of course please share the video! I just wanted people to discover these great products in the same way I did. Now the fun will begin with actually making cards using them and playing with different techniques (water resist, reactivate, etc.) :) feel free to share them too whenever they come. If you ever want me to do a similar video of another type of product, just let me know, I would be very happy to help! Have a lovely day!

Thank you for this video. I have never before seen or used Infusions, and I like what I see. By the way, if you haven't tried the black Brushos, I think you're in for a pleasant surprise. It's the best one of all.
@scrapcosy7 жыл бұрын
Daria C. thanks for the comments! Do you mean the colour black of Brusho? I just have the colours that appear in the video. Thanks for the advice, I may try and get one at next Ally Pally :)

Yes. The black Brusho is amazing. If I could only have one color, it would be that one.

The "Problem" With The SMALL Hole, Is At The END Of Your Bottle, You're Left With All The Larger Crystals... I Prefer To Use A Very Small SPOON...To Get A Good "Mix" Of All The Crystals... In Fact, I Give It A Good Stir First. Lovely Video Though. The "Thing" About Art,... IS: You Can Do "IT" However You (The Artist) WANTS TOO!

Wow....I Didn't Expect An Answer. I Would Be CURIOUS To KNOW "What Color" The LARGEST "Brusho" Crystals Were? I Just Subscribed To Your Channel! You Really Do "MAKE" The Viewer UNDERSTAND What You Are "Doing"! I'm Excited To See Your Other Videos! I Make "Watercolor" Cards For The Church I Attend(Get Well, Sympathy, Encouragement, "Scripture Cards" the Size Of A Credit Card) But I ALSO Just Made About 50 "Alcohol Inks"(From Sharpies, Old BIC Markers-Just Take The End "Button" Off, (With Pliers)THEN, "Snap" Off The "Writing Tip", and The "Ink Stem" Falls Right Out! Some Lady Said You Needed An "Exacto Knife"! The Sharpies(With Pliers, Grab The "Color" Part (Top) And Twist-Just As Easy! I Asked My Pharmacist For Some Bottles, And Bought A Couple Of "Glass Droppers"...I Rinse Them In Water (Squirtting The Water In and Out) Then In A Jar Of Alcohol...Then Wipe With A Paper Towel. I'll Have To Do Something Different Though, I'm Afraid Of Cross Contamination.... Maybe 8 or So More Droppers...) I Did Some "Brusho-Alcohol"...Tried It On "Stone Paper"... Did A Tree With The "Sienna", and It Gave Me Interesting Lines! Some Of The Crystal DON'T DISOLVE In Alcohol...(At Least 24 Hors Later They Didn't) WHICH IS A NICE EFFECT! However When I Spritzed With WATER, They DID ALL Disolve...MORE EXPERIMENTING NEEDED. I Also Did Some "Acrylic Gold/Very Fine Glitter" Alcohol Ink... I Used A Paintbrush, and Painted An Ocean Scene With Black(Fine Black Glitter/black Sharpie) A Beach(BIC-Tahiti Tan) With A Sunset(Mixed An Orange Sharpie/Fushia Sharpie...At The End, I "Misted It With Alcohol...Beautiful! Sealed With "Clear Spray Paint"(I KNOW! Right?!) 4$ or 12.99... Hmmmm. I ALSO LIVE ON A "FARM"...I Don't Use Stamps, Or "Die's"...But I Use W.C. Pencils, INKTENSE Pencils...W.C. Paints Colored Pencils...ETC...Well, I AM Waaaaay Behind! Gotta Go! Hope To "Talk" To You Later...You Are JUST "LOVELY"! Have A GOOD DAY!

Hi Sandi! I haven't opened the lids, so I don't know which one has bigger crystals, since the holes were more or less the same size. I'll let you know next time I experiment with them. I've done experiments with alcohol too but with infusions. As you well say, these dye powders react with water. Alcohol barely affects them if there is no water around, but if you incorporate water, then things start to happen, as you've seen. If you want to see my experiments, go to my playlist "all about infusions" and choose the one about alcohol (number 3 in the list). I'll leave both links below Play list: kzbin.info/www/bejne/m4OUd2qPf6qJrcU Alcohol video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/Zofcaal4ZblgaZo Thanks for the tips on the alcohol markers. I'm sure you had a messy fun time with them :) Making cards of a credit card size is great! I guess you take less time but I'm sure you get beautiful results. Have a lovely weekend! xxx
@sandiriemann48796 жыл бұрын
Actually, It Was NOT To "Messy"! If You EVER Do It, You Can Use Those "Disposable" Latex Gloves.... I Just Like To "FEEL" What I Do...(I USED To Be A "Potter", I Took A "Native American Hand Building" Class At NSU, (As Well As 5 Semesters Of "Real Ceramics"Tahlequah, OK From Jane Austie(Pots From 4-10,000$$ Or MORE! Cherokee Indian.", And I Made "High-Fire Stoneware" Jewelry With Swarovski Crystals.(Shape A Tear-Drop, Carve Out The Center, And Put A Crystal In It....As It Cooled, It Would Crack and Re-Crack, And End Up Smoothed Over. Beautiful! I Also Would "Hand-Build" Boxes Of ALL Sizes/Shapes, With "Feet" And Carve "Designs" Or A Scene(Flower/Butterfly, Jewelry Boxes With Insert Divided Into 4-6 Little "Spaces" With Differet Color "Floors"...)That's AN EXPENSIVE HOBBY!!! Anyway, The Friend I Do "Scripture Journaling" With, Said, "Your Alcohol Inks Are Better Than The Ones I Bought"! (Do I DARE Say "WHO" Made Hers? (A d I r) ....I AM Going To Get The "Mixative"(?) Though...Spraying With Alcohol At The End, IS EXCITING!! It CHANGES EVERYTHING!!! (Not The Basic "Lay-Out", But The "Brush-Stroke", FOR SURE!THANK YOU FOR THE "LINKS"! Your Video IS The ONLY One I've EVER Seen ANYTHING On "Infusions"!!! I LOVE What I SAW! I Have Limited Funds, BUT/AND All "This" Started With FINDING THE "BEST" Gold, Silver, and Copper Watercolors! From "There" To "Here"= Quite A Journey! Thank You Again!!
