I've had zero luck at the reservoir. Hopefully I can get some hints from you.

This time of year can be difficult but keep on it, you’ll get into them.

Thanks you for your insights. Beginning my fishing adventures this weekend on the Res. New rod and reel to break in. See ya out there.

Pretty sure I just saw you at the mineral palace park near the food trucks! Wanted to stop and talk but you were with your family.

Yeah just enjoyed the food trucks for lunch. Feel free to stop me anytime, always enjoy talking fishing.

Just came across your channel. Looks like we fish a lot of the same waters. I like how you explain what you are doing in your videos . Pueblo is such a fun lake this time of year…you showed a lot of nice smallmouth, largemouth and walleye.

Thanks man. Yeah Pueblo is fire right now but these 100 degree days are sweltering. I’ll be out there soon though. Good luck!

Been getting skunked over and over er even using the bobber today water change to hot ?
@TravelsAndMore2 жыл бұрын
Yes with the 100 degree days we’ve been having causes the fish to go out to deeper water looking for cooler temps. Try early mornings before it heats up this time of year.

Tried the same area.. I'm wondering how to get further North up the lake from dirt road area entrance 🤔..

Got a nice 18inch Smallmouth at that point in our new boat that Sunday. Nice video👍

Heck yeah. Seems like the smallies have such nice color this year too.

I've never fished with slip bobber set up. Can you tell me the things to buy? Do you fish the south or north side of res? Great video! Rick
@TravelsAndMore2 жыл бұрын
From top to bottom it goes: bobber stop, bead, slip bobber, weight, swivel, leader, then hook. Once you get used to the setup you'll never go back to a regular bobber. In my next video I'll show exactly where I fish, but NW side is usually where I go, but fishing is good throughout the lake.

Going fishing in a few days at the res using your slip bobber setup. We'll see what hits.

I went out last evening after work. Got into walleye, LM bass, SM bass, and an awesome wiper so you should have a great time. Good luck to you.

Love to watch the videos. I fish the Pueblo reservoir as well and have had much more success with your tips! 👍

That is awesome, I’m glad they have helped you. The Res is fishing so good right now, but the 100 degrees days are rough. Good luck out there!

Really enjoy the videos you post! Which GoPros are you using to film?
@TravelsAndMore2 жыл бұрын
Thank you for the feedback. I use a pair of gopro 6’s and for the most part they do well for me. I also have an older 3+ I use for the underwater footage.

Took my daughter out this last weekend and tried your slip bobber tips. Had a lot of fun and caught a few fish. About half and half worms to leeches. Dang those leeches were expensive compared to worms. Always enjoy your videos!
@TravelsAndMore2 жыл бұрын
Yeah the leeches are expensive. So glad that you and your daughter had success out there. Been a crazy spring this year. Should continue to get better over the next couple of weeks I’d imagine.
