Hey guys! In this video we continue the InGen's list series with a brand new episode titled...InGen's Secrets! These are dinosaurs that the company didn't tell anybody about, but I still give a super basic crash course in the paleontology behind the real life fossil record counterpart. Ceratosaurus will be the first subject and fun fact, it's actually highly speculated to be a hybrid dinosaur due to the amalgam testing that took place during Jurassic Park 3! Hope you all enjoy! :D

I love it! Rumor has it that the JPIII version, was just a redesigned T-Rex, modified into a Ceratosaurus.

It's great that you link that up with a popular movie franchise, makes it more easily accessible for people like me to jump back in. Also like your videos seem pretty well researched. So great work on that too! Thanks again for the videos. And cheers mate!

I for one grew up loving dinosaurs. I was able to see Jurassic park in theaters! I say I was able to 1) I'm old enough n 2) I got my parents to let me go (I was 11 or so at the time). The JP franchise has thoroughly enthralled me n increased my love of these creatures even more! At 12, my mom bought me Jurassic Park thru the scholastic book order n I owned it up until 2011. I wanted to thank you for all the work u do here. I watch movies for their entertainment value but I also love discussing them. Thanks to u I've learned things I didn't catch or didn't know before about the franchise. I didn't have much in the way of toys or video games growing up so hearing how some of that plays into the JP Canon is very interesting. I'm anxiously awaiting the next movie. I enjoy fantasizing about it's contents n I love how Fallen Kingdom played right into the release of Jurassic World Alive. Please keep up all the great work!!

I find it interesting, on my desk I got two old small Ceratosaurus toys, one is blue and in the horizontal stance while the other is like a, light purple colourization and stands in the upright fashion like how dinosaurs were thought to look like.

Zimzilla 99 the same thing is with the spinosaurus. Instead of mostly spinosaurus DNA, it had more modified suchomimus and baryonyx DNA with a little less spinosaurus DNA. I mean this is not confirmed at all yet, but it would make sense since the JP3 Spinosaurus is a bit different from that of the actual animal in the current fossil record.

Makes me curious how different things would be, if Joe Johnston used Carnotaurus (as originally planned) instead of Ceratosaurus. Wonder if Carnotaurus would still have appeared in Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, or if we would have had a different dinosaur instead.

Ceratosaurus has been a favourite of mine since I was a kid. Loved its brief appearance in JP3, would love to see it in again in JW3. Weird how in JP it's so much bigger than Dilophosaurus (which they made smaller than real life) when in real life they were of similar size (and related.)

I always kinda liked the Ceratosaurus in JPIII. It was kinda nice to see a therapod and have it not immediately try to attack our main characters, but rather leave peacefully. Most likely it was due to the scent of the Spinosaur's excrement, letting him know that a far larger predator was nearby, but still.

I want this underrated dinosaur to return. To think it only got one scene and didn't get any fight or action scene just because it was fooled by poop really disappoints me. There was a missed opportunity where when the humans were trying to survive the spino the cerato comes in and battles. It could lose or win but I just want to be in a good action scene and have more screen time than a small cameo
