This whole area is so beautiful, it is not surprising that one section took almost an hour. I love how there are so many falls to view from this trail, it would be so cool to live on that farm along the trail!

Yeah we've learned by now that if we're taking cameras with us on a walk, then take whatever the estimated time is and double it 😅 It was such a beautiful walk. Thanks for watching!

Yep, so many waterfalls, it's great! And that money tree was cool....we also saw wooden carved toadstools that people had stuck coins in too. Thanks for watching 😊

That's good to hear! Ingleton Waterfalls Trail is one of my favourite places we have been so far in the Yorkshire Dales (it does have competition from the Muker walk we did, but that will be best in June rather than Feb half term as it takes you through wildflower meadows). I hope you have a fantastic trip!

Thankyou for a brilliant and well informed video, we have visited a few waterfalls this spring visit to the area, High force, Cauldron snout, Hardraw force and also Aira force, they are all stunning but Aira force was probably our favourite as you are able to get up close and personal. As we had such a great time we are booked to come back to the region in October when, hopefully we will have had some substantial rainfall and we fully intend to visit Ingleton then, like you said in your video they should be a lot more breathtaking. Once again thankyou and good luck with this KZbin channel. Martin and Debbie

Thanks for the lovely comment 🙂 Yes, hopefully there will be some rain just before your October visit! If not it's still a fantastic area to walk. I don't know Aira force...gave it a google, is it near Ullswater? It looked great in the photos anyway!

Did the waterfalls look really powerful after all the rain we've had this month? I've been thinking to myself recently that I bet Ingleton Falls look amazing right now after the soggy month we have just had! (this video was filmed in April when it was much drier). Glad you had a great day 🙂 Thanks for watching our video!

Been twice over the years and each time we were too late and still never done it yet! It's on my must do list this year but after we have had a good bit of rain, too dry at the moment, cheers Alan
@OurTravelPlace3 жыл бұрын
Oh no, too late because there was no parking left? We got there early...and I mean EARLY... we were literally the first people on the trail that day! I hope you do get to do the walk this year. Good plan to wait for rain. There hadn't been a lot before our trip so it must look amazing after a wet spell! I'm sure the English weather will be able to sort that one out for you soon though 😄 Thanks for watching!

Remember doing this so many times as a kid, sure it used to be free and there used to be a open swimming pool at the end of it
@johnowen16774 күн бұрын
It's never been free. It used to be run as 2 separate walks. One run by a Mr Worthington and the other by a Mr. Hopkinson. They both charged to enter. 2d and 3d respectively. They merged in 1890s and it has been run by the Worthington family ever since. They have had to comply with health and safety which has been quite expensive. Strong metal bridges, concrete steps and security fencing now in place. They do not detract from the exceptional scenery and wildlife.

Nice. I picture a house on/over some falls like that in that general area, the historic West Riding of Yorkshire. With some water diverted for a natural pool and hot tub, heated with solar ideally.

Amazing and helpful post and pictures! Planning trip to Dales in May.....is it possible to visit this fall and Aysgarth Falls without renting a car? Appreciate all help!
@OurTravelPlace2 жыл бұрын
Hi, thanks so much, I'm glad you liked it! I'm not sure where you will be based (if you are staying in the dales) but there is the dales bus service (www.dalesbus.org/) although they haven't released their summer timetable yet. It does look like Ingleton and Aysgarth are two places covered by the dales buses. So I suppose it depends on where you will be coming from as to how easy each will be! I wouldn't try and do them both in one day myself, but I'm not sure if that's what you meant anyway :) Hope you have a great trip! We love the dales :D

How long walk from car park to water 💦 falls?
@OurTravelPlace3 жыл бұрын
The trail itself starts right next to the car park. I would say the first set of falls was probably... 1-1.5 miles into the walk? So around 30 minutes walk. It took us a lot longer but we were filming and getting distracted!
