Beautiful art, loved his work on superman earth one, but not all amazing artist can write, this doesn't surprise me

His fight posing is really bad, the punch at 6:44 and kick at 7:14 are both wrong and bad form. With the punch, his left hand shouldn't be flung way back, it should be covering his chin. And with the kick, his whole pose is wrong, that kick would be a little tap with no power on it, not a knockout-power kick. I read a random manga about MMA and it had way better striking shots and fighting in it. It's funny how these reviewers asked about MMA, since Shane got choked out on the street when trying to kickbox some guy who stole one of his superman drawings. There's a photo of him sleeping, while his victorious foe cuddles him around his neck, it's very funny indeed. It's a shame he couldn't have put some comedy like that into this story!

Comics are a visual medium. Show the story, don't tell it. The more exposition a book has, the less I care. If I want exposition I'll read a novel or play a story based video game. I'll say the same thing I've been saying all along to creators: figure out the beginning, middle and end of your story. Not the first issue, the ENTIRE ARC. Then fill in the blanks and get it drawn. Going issue to issue produces avoidable mistakes like large volumes of exposition.

I really liked this book. The story was good and the art work was fantastic. I'm backing IR 2 as well and am eagerly awaiting it. If I'm honest I liked it better than Ethan's Bloodhoney which was all over the place. Still backed Rekt Planet and all its supplemental books. High hopes for this one since all the set up should be done now wit BH out the way..

Honestly, I mentally checked out as soon as I saw the wall of text. If you want to write a story of text, then go write a novel. With a comic I think the art speak for itself, especially when the art is this good.
