Their relationship was truly special ... only Ingo and his loved ones know how much Kai's departure from Helloween hurt him, something they created together. Great to see Kai and Ingo hugging each other. I always thought Ingo should have played in Gamma Ray after Kai's left. But, in my opinion, Ingo's playing on 'Pink bubbles go ape' is his finest performance... So, past is past, and we must enjoy their legacies as they are.

@@nikoskantar7683 Uni Kush was the second drummer. When Uli joined to Helloween because Ingo disease had no sense to enter in GR. I think Kai offered the place when Kai left after his project became a new band

According to what I read, Kai and Ingo kept in touch as close friends and they wanted to continue playing Metal together but there never was an attempt to do it in GR or Helloween. They kept separated ways although they were friends. As simple as that.

Greetings from the Czechia...hanks for the great video, I saw Helloween for the first time in Budapest in 1987 when their most famous album was released and in their most classic session with Ingo on drums. I was seventeen years old at the time and I was just starting my first job. And this year, after 36 years, I saw Helloween again in Košice, Slovakia at the Hello-feast event... but I'm only 10 years away from retirement. I'm happy, that Helloween music has been with me all my life. R.I.P. Ingo

Hallo Veronique, damals war es in der Tat nicht einfach Videos aufzunehmen (VHS Kameras so groß wie ein Schuhkarton und mindestens 15 Kg schwer) und immer wenn es sich ergab haben wir eben ein Video gemacht. Niemand konnte ahnen was dann später mit Ingo passieren würde..

Thanks for sharing these beautiful memories. Today I am 48 years old. When I discovered Helloween I was a passionate music guy, I was learning to play drums and Ingo became one of my heroes. His story has always touched me deeply and in all these years I have never forgotten the beautiful sensations I felt listening to his music and his way of playing.
