Wow.... now that really was a trip down memory lane, always had a week staying on gillings Silver beach in the 70's and 80's, a walk down to the boating lake and further on to Chapel St Leonards,some great times and great memories made ,it has changed but still recognisable and although it seems to get put down a lot, still a fantastic place for a good old family holiday..

At 6.50. Sure that is the entrance to a caravan site my dad`s great uncle got after WW2. They was virtually giving land away. I stayed there as a kid. My great Aunty Enid would go round collecting the money out the toilets when she was really old.

Thanq for the video At Ingoldmells are there any hotels on Promenade ? I ask cos in 2024 my sister & I are going to Skegness for a week, maybe Ingoldmells might make a nice change, it's got to be a hotel tho, we are both walking impaired & need a lift.
@neilrgreatestadventures Жыл бұрын
Hi Lynne not really, you would better off staying in one of the hotels in Skegness then catching the bus or a taxi to ingoldmells. That’s what ingoldmells is missing a good hotel. I hope that helps.. NeilR 🙏😎👍
