Thunder fan that was in the arena. The Pirates of the Caribbean did absolutely nothing for the crowd lol And one more note about selecting Dieng over JDub in the draft. It has since come out that Presti intentionally selected Dieng at 11 so we’e still have JDub at 12 if the Knicks trade fell through.

Yeah, they tossed out 3 low value fake 1st's to to ensure they got JDub. They took a flier on Dieng as a consolation prize. Easily worth the price if Dieng turns into nothing but a G-league All-star like he is now.

@@TexanByNature88 I hope so. In theory Dieng is the exact player OKC needs next to Chet at the PF. But to date, he has shown to be a terrible decision maker with the ball and plays scared of contact which is crazy to me for a 6'10-11" guy around 220-230. If he ever learns to play with force, hit 3's above 36%, and take care of the ball, he could be a star. Just don't see it right now, but I hope it happens.

@@hestilllives192 I feel as if Sam will trade Giddy if contract talks doesn’t go right. He wants to retain Joe and Wiggins. Trade Giddy and get more drafts picks and let Dieng grow🤷🏾♂️

Referring is a tough job. There is a philosophy to it. All bitching starts with the lakers. They shoot more free throws than the next 3 teams combined.

The Pelicans organization isn’t worth New Orleans fans showing the same loyalty. The organization has shown very little respect for the fans. David Griffin regularly hides team facts fans would like to know just so the team doesn’t get bad publicity. He lied to them about Zion coming back Game 1 last year just so he could sell some extra season passes. He constantly keeps injury information from them. He didn’t even bother telling them the full details of the Jrue Holiday trade. He was well aware of how beloved Jrue was in New Orleans, so he made all the fans think they got a better package than what they got back. We literally relatively recently that one of Milwaukee’s first round picks only went to us if if it fell into the top 4. Heck, David didn’t even bother informing fans that the coach had been extended until a year later. I could also break down Willie Green and Gale Benson, but it would take way too much of my time. The truth of the organization is it’s the blind leading the blind. An ill-equipped attention seeking owner has put her trust into a slimy snake oil salesman who’s hired the village idiot to coach the team. Hardcore fans do what we saw tonight in Oklahoma. If the organization wants those kind of fans they have to earn them. Those fans demand respect for their support. They like to know what’s happening from game to game not year to year. They certainly don’t like being mislead. More than anything they like the people at top to show semblance of being competent in their positions.

No one knows who the thunder owners are. Great. Presti is a top GM and knows how to run a small market team.

Its best for team morale to win or lose as a team. Blaming one person is how division filtrates a team and that an ugly game.
