Good video. Quick question, have you ever made any changes to your cover print finish (gloss vs matte) or any other simple edits to the print setup? I changed mine from Matte to Glossy and it said I had to re-upload the interior files and the cover files again just for the COVER PAPER FINISH or Binding type (Laminate hardcover, or Cloth with Dust Jacket) change. A minor change such as this should really not require having to wait several more days for another e-Proof when nothing with the interior has been changed. Any experience with this issue? This has been a great help for me uploading my kids coloring book to ingramspark. Quick question though I put sample coloring pages on the back cover like I did with KDP. I see most coloring books available like on Barnes and Noble do not show the back cover like Amazon does? So I guess it's still good if books end up on Amazon or instore to have sample pages on the back?

Thank you for your videos. I have several coloring books also, but IngramSpark is not allowing them to 'be distributed' and I think it is because the UK and EU do not allow coloring books. How do I edit this to remove the opens of EU and UK? I cannot find this anywhere?

Congratulations fellow author and thank you for this very clear explanation. I'm about to upload my books on IngramSpark and wanted to make sure Im doing it correctly. I have 1 question, for the book cover do I have to have my name and title in the spine? I ask because in KDP it automatically put that info once it was published. Will IngramSpark do the same? My cover is in PDF format. Thanks so so much😊😊😊

Thanks! If your title is on the cover it does not have to go on the spine but if you want it on the spine you will need to include that in your PDF cover file that you submit.

Hello, I am a resident of Korea. I have a question about ISBN. After making the book, I want to post it both on Amazon and ingramspark, but I used the free ISBN from Amazon. Then, can't I use that number in IngramSpark? Or can I use it? I want to post e-books for both, can't I get them for free?

Thanks for watching! You would only be able to use that same ISBN if you paid for it - not if it was provided by Amazon

Hi! When using IngramSpark, you have the option to create your own imprint name for branding purposes. This can help you create a professional and consistent image for your publications. So, essentially it means what is your brand or publishing name.

Yes, a coloring book would require an ISBN (International Standard Book Number). An ISBN is a unique identifier for books, and each edition of a book typically needs its own ISBN. This includes different formats (hardcover, paperback) and different versions (revised editions, special editions). You can visit Bowker if you plan to purchase your own ISBN. Any additional questions related to the course can be directed to the email support to be sure they are not missed. xo

Just watched your video. I just need some clarification about return. I pause your video and read the terms, it says, if you choose YES- DESTROYED, you WILL BE CHARGED for the print cost of each book, but no charge for shipping and etc. It says you will still be charged. Let say they returned 10,000 copies, then you’ll be charged for that. Is that right?

Yes, that's correct. You will be charged the wholesale price of the book(s), but no shipping charges.

Hi Latoya, may i ask, did you illustrate this book yourself, or another illustrator ? There are so many options out there that offer coloring images, or elements that you can use to create the coloring pages, but have found using those, you do not own the copyright.

It seems the rejection is coming from an automatic bot.. hopefully they will accept when they review it manually. The system thinks it is a low content book, while the fact, if one draws the coloring images on his/her own, they are content loaded and not easy to do :). Thanks again and good luck with the book

@@StreetCrop It's only happened to me on one other book but it usually only takes them a few days to manually review and approve it - as long as it follows their catalog integrity guidelines. Hopefully yours get approved soon!

@@jcbooks21 they recommend images be at least 300 DPI for high-quality printing but usually it will allow you to submit it. Was the printing fine when you had it on KDP? By the way, what was the reason the KDP account was closed?

@@jcbooks21 regarding the book that was live on KDP I always suggest that you order proof copies to see exactly how the book looks when printed. As far as manipulating kindle services...they usually say that once you've responded to them asking them what you did. Prior to that though, they will usually send you an email message. What did that original message say?

@@LatoyaNicoleOfficial I used Canva to download my pdf files. And IngramSpark gives this error "FILES CONTAIN TRANSFER CURVES: Saving a file using the default PDF/X-1a:2001 setting will eliminate this issue." Do you know what I'm doing wrong?
