I'm Filipino-Canadian and miss universe Canada as an organization does not have a big budget like miss universe Philippines per say. So they rely on this "companies" like mgmu mode, to do hustle for them, such as getting free stuff. To be honest, I am more surprised how miss universe Canada, were able to get Michael Cinco to work for them. But anyways, mgu mode is a latin american company that were hired by miss universe canada to work for their organization... probably in a very very cheap amount. So with that, cheap company = cheap employee = uneducated, unprofessional, ill-mannered and con-artist LOL.

MUC should not be using Filipino Designers for thier candidates. They're just using Filipinos. Why not use thier own talents and designers in thier country. Very ungrateful. Michael Cinco is one of the world renowned Designers and whether he'll dress the beauty queens or not, he will still be the best and humble Filipino designer. I feel so bad about this. The problem with Nova was when she was bullied by "some Filipinos", she posted the comments on social media w/o even trying to cover the names of those bullies. I agree that it shouldn't be condoned. That bullying shouldn't be encouraged. However, when she posted that picture of her surrounded by Tagalog comments translated into English, the first thing I noticed was, she was able to edit it by cutting those comments like a collage but she didn't bother to protect the names. It doesn't mean that someone did something wrong to you, you'll have to do the same thing to them. Exposing the names of those people and highlighting them on her social media doesn't resolve anything at all. I expect a more finesse response from a Miss Universe candidate especially in the middle of the pageant. Both Pia and Catriona are advocates of anti-bullying but I don't remember that they stoop to someone's level as Nova did. She looks more like a victim than an empowered woman advocating anti-bullying. I know she was offended and hurt and I'm truly sorry about that, but she also seems to forget that she's a candidate for Miss Universe that time she posted it. Most of all, she seems to forget that she was representing Canada. Then the M5 incident happen. M5 seems way past expecting a thank you/ gratitude message from her especially after the rant of Nova's handler which M5 addressed it. M5 obviously was offended by the accusation towards his team and his brand. (Brand/business which was under his name. If there will be one person that should feel being attacked and feel sabotage it should be M5 at least based on the thread or exchanges I've read between M5 and the handler. Mas may karapatan si M5 n ma feel na na agrabyado sya). I think the most appropriate response to someone like M5 who showed so much hurt and frustration after the rant of Nova's handler is to say their sincerest apology. A sincere giver like M5 will continue to give w/o expecting anything in return. M5 claimed that he was not getting paid for 3 years (not 100% sure of where and what I exactly read) but the handler kept on returning to M5. I think the "thank you / gratitude message" is the least thing that M5 can expect from them. I think he only mentioned that Nova's team didn't even bother to say "thank you" to emphasize that Nova's team was ungrateful. To "emphasized Nova and her team's attitude and behavior". It doesn't mean he demands or he didn't expect her to say a gratitude response pa. I think it's best if she will read M5 response to her handler's post and she should try to "read between the lines". I'm not saying that Nova was not sincere when she posted a video response that she was grateful for M5, but I think her response was not appropriate. I also read in one of the posts that M5 wants to address the issue privately and not to use social media but her handler did it anyway. To me, it was more like they threaten and trying to manipulate M5. The handler reminds me of a paying customer who was unsatisfied with the service from the company or restaurant and demanded a refund and if the refund request is not granted they use social media review as a threat to damage the reputation of the business owner or the person. But according to M5, he spent money for the shoot of Nova. He sounded like Nova's team was not even a good-payer client for 3 yrs lol. So why are they using one of "our"/Filipinos greatest pride, M5, who was so kind-hearted to even spent his time and his own money for Miss Universe Canda nga uli? Some people really have a thick skin talaga. A woman like her, Nova, Beauty Queen is expected to "respond appropriately and most importantly is to respond promptly". Bakit ngayon sya mega thank you after sumagot si M5. Diba sa Miss Universe nga may timer pa ata sa last question ng top 3 buti di sya umabot dun kundi nag ding na yung timer tas kinabukasan pa sagot ni Nova lol ✌ I honestly just feel bad for M5. I know he is talented and one of the great Filipino designer and before Nova's handler rant, parang waley nman na i issue na di maganda sa kanya and if you read his response sa thread, napaka straight forward and nag respond agad ng galing sa puso so alam mo nag sasabi totoo din kaya hugs na lang to M5 and his team.
