No "built in" fan base. But look how many people left Pokemon. Harry Potter will die even faster because it's no a core of fans based on a game. Ingress will die if they force Ingress Prime upon all of the experienced players who hate it (Scanner Redacted is so much more usable) Ingress will probably never have the popularity of Pokemon or Harry Potter, unless a really well done Hollywood movie series comes out. But if it's a lame movie, the game will stay about the same.

You have to go to Busan, South Korea; Montreal, Quebec Canada; or Madison, WI for the main Anomaly events. Often (and especially if they want Res to win in my opinion) you'll see them add the global MU score gain to the rules and anyone can participate in that from anywhere, but won't receive an anomaly participant (or win, if they're going to keep doing that now) badge.

Yep. They get mentioned in various Dunraven videos, various posts on the Investigate Ingress reddit, and the Shapers are mentioned in Prime's tutorial. And of course, Jarvis still makes plenty of praises to the Shapers.

I've been watching the lore for quite some time now, and I actually concluded that the newest videos are just filled with bad acting... You should familiarize yourself with GORUCK - those were selected participants from GORUCK Prime Challenge and former Special Forces Cadre running them through a series of physical endurance, teamwork and problem solving challenges with GORUCK and Niantic staff along to film, and the sensitives from the NIA and other entities helping out.

Sidney Wong PAC and Jahan weren’t caught up in the Powercube explosion and as such weren’t made simulacrums, so they weren’t targeted by Nemesis. Also the only work PAC has done for the NIA was getting ADA operational and then he quit.

@@DerAdrianDa Probably. But even without it, I hear of many getting hitched. Ingress and similar AR Mobile Games do gets you out and about to mingle, even in reserved societies. That's one of the key things that attracted me to the game. Not the dating part though. Haha.
