This is a clip of Ingrid Askew speaking about her journey on the 1998-1999 Interfaith Pilgrimage of the Middle Passage, which became the founding of her organization, Crossing the Waters Institute for Cultural Exchange. The recording was part of her acceptance speech for the Radical Truth Teller Award given by The Truth Telling Project in March 2022.
