얼마나 아프냐면 일단 어디 부딪히면 뇌 정지 오면서 으끄끆... 소리 절로나옴 이제 심해지면 내성 발톱 부분 절단 수술 들어가는데 마취 넣는것도 아프고 이후 절단 할때는 덜아프긴함 대신 절단 하는 과정동안 감각은 꽤 느껴짐 실시간으로 보기 거북할정도 좀 깊게 들어갔으면 뿌리부분을 긁는데 소리가 미침 진짜 고통은 수술 이후인데 한동안 물들어가면 안되서 샤워도 못함 회복이 더뎌지면 지옥시작

For anyone interested... my personal experience is that ingrown toenails seem to happen when the nail "guide", as I call it, gets messed with. It's a straight piece of skin-nail (somewhat inbetween) that runs on the side of your nail. If you mess with that or damage it in any way your nail doesn't know where to grow anymore and it starts growing into the side of your toe. The best thing to do is push your skin on the side of your toe down as far as possible constantly while putting the nail guide back where it's supposed to go. Once it goes too far and the skin starts really growing over your toenail you really just need a surgical correction.

as someone who used to have 2 ingrown toenails for about a year and a half cus we simply couldn't afford to get it fixed. I agree with this on a subatomic level. got them removed twice but when I asked to do a permanent removal they said it won't come back. it did twice. when it was finally down I had to re learn how to walk properly pain free and not be scared of breathing near them which usually caused the worst pain in the milkyway galaxy

Oh yeah...been there. Got mine after wearing shoes half a size too small for too long. I didn't think it made a difference until the ingrown happened. Here's a tip! If it gets infected, soak your foot in Epsom Salt water. It'll help draw the pus out and ease the pain.

Me too. Ive had two, one of them being surgically removed. They jabbed my toe three times and i could feel all the pressure and a tiny bit of pain from them tearing my nail out. The part where hes about to use the clippers on his toe made me cringe and look away. Ptsd lol

I have it on both big toe nails for five years. It was surgically removed two times but kept growing back. So had to sort it by removing it every week by myself. It was painful then, but now i think im used to it that it doesnt bother me anymore lmao
