Mine is 2011. The battery section is rusted and one spring broke out. It doesn’t connect with batteries and it was not connecting well with the power supply today. My house is currently without power and no way of fixing it.

I just saw that my nyamezela meter has 2 batteries it keeps on rejecting tokens . Is it because that my meter box has 2 different batteries?

Can this recharge if there only batteries inside the device? I was trying and each time I input the recharge voucher, n enter, it just displays Connect. I am waiting on Eskom to come fix the tiny cable attached to the device for connection to power socket.
