The way points appearing in your FMC automatically indicates it IS reading your Simbrief plan, even though you think it isn't. The way points don't appear by themselves if you haven't made a flight plan already.

I can't get throttle to play . If I pull down to idle it engaged reverse thrusters . I have configured it but still does it .

Are you using the throttle on the stick or the one on the TCA Quadrant?

I use my throttle on the stick. Use a velocity one . Only work around is the have idle at 50% throttle and essentially cut my range of motion in half .

Thank you for your input. Actually different controllers have different behaviors with this plane. There is always a work around available and I think you have found the solution. Do let me know if you have any other questions.

I really don't understand why you have to tell it the transition. The REREK waypoint is always the start point of the approach to that runway, so why do you have to tell it? The STAR will always end at it, so surely it should simply be built in to the STAR?
