I have had this internal conflict for a long time of wanting to honor my roots and where I came from when I feel like I am drawn to the cosmos. I'm currently going onto cancer treatment while navigating the end of an 11-year marriage. This felt like a reminder from the Universe that I am always who I am, and my purpose isn't to be any of the things the world places on me. I had already embraced that as a queer, disabled trans man.
