This 3 series video made me tear up; it's been a year since I started my walk with Christ. And I haven't had a clear black-and-white reason to follow Him, but several different convictions. This made me realize another one of those. Around 3 years ago, I had transgressed against someone I had loved and betrayed her trust, and I didn't know I still carried that guilt till a year ago when I started to follow Christ, and I began to realize the gravity of my previous transgression. This video made clear the inequity I have been carrying for 3 years and why I have felt so heavy and stuck up in different relationships, that I don't even feel the love of eros in those relationships (these relationships were before I started my walk with Christ, and they were with unequally yoked folks so that was probably why). When I heard that it was God's dignity to make us carry our inequities (2:48) I understood why He placed such guilt on my heart. And afterward, Psalm 32:5 showed me how God will help me carry it, and for the past few months, I have been getting signs to reach out to her once more to confess and try to make amends again. I'm guessing this series is another sign. I'll be flying back home in around 2 months to try and contact her again, I hope you guys will pray for me and I know Jesus will show me His grace again.

This explains a lot. In Luke 13 where Jesus heals on the Sabbath day the lady who was bent over 18 years and the ruler of the synagogue was indignant about it. It is a very clear object lesson of how bent out of shape the human heart is.

@@pursuingpeas8236 Speaking for myself I spent too many wasted moments trying to figure out what I had done wrong to deserve the brokenness I had and how to fix it apart from doing what I knew Jesus was asking me to do. Doing so was a folly that was quite like this word Avon that is being described here; I was trapped in a seriously evil loop of circular thinking. The kind ascribed to insanity or a computer virus. It wasn't until I forgave, a thing I was loath to do and made all kinds of excuses to avoid, that my thinking changed. This evil was lifted off for good! If they have done a video of the word repentance then it is especially significant to this story in Luke 13. Repentance is a change of thought. At the beginning of Luke 13 there are two tragic events one henious and one merely an accident and in both cases Jesus says, "unless you repent you will all likewise perish" In my case it was a simple act of obedience. I didn't even know if it would work or do anything and quite frankly I was sick of myself, and decided to just do it. Grains of faith the size of a mustard seed is no different than changing one thought towards God and taking a small act of obedience. Oddly enough the moment of my self hate came in a time of serious turmoil, and yet after I forgave, after 30 years or torturing myself, I felt the most satisfied I can ever remember feeling. The turmoil hadn't ended but the sorrows had.

My pastor preached about iniquity.. I hadn’t heard this word up until that day and honestly didn’t even catch my attention when I did read the Bible. But I really liked how my pastor preached about it. Iniquities are definitely passed on to us from generations to generations, it’s the roots of a tree, the trunk is the generational curses and the branches are sins. He spoke about not only cutting off sins, generational curses but also the iniquities in us. Sometimes we don’t even know what we have from previous generations and sometimes we don’t know why we are probably attracted to some sins more than the others… this is when we look back and find out about our generations. He had a great example… he grew up always loving firearms/guns and said he couldn’t wait to be older so he could kill. This was a child and he didn’t know why he felt that way. He never grew up seeing that or playing games… if anything he was a small poor child with no access to any of that. So when he got older accepted Christ and started to question Lord, I would never kill anyone but why do I have this really rare and disgusting feeling that I want to do that??? And God revealed it to him that his dad, grandpa, and previous generations had at least killed 1 person. It’s important to understand that yes we are made new in Christ when we accept him ad our Lord and Saviour but we also have to ask him to examine us and reveal to us what things are inside of us and be delivered from them. And yes this is biblical, if Jesus healed the sick and delivered so many from evil spirits/demons we need to also understand that it is the same thing then and NOW. John 14:15 “If you love Me, you shall guard My commandments. 1 John 5:3 By this we know that we love the children of Elohim, when we love Elohim and guard His commandments. 3 For this is the love for Elohim, that we guard His commandments, and His commandments are not heavy, The word fulfill is similar to what He said the Messiah did, He made the crooked way man had perverted His path back straight! Matt. 5: 17 “Do not think that I came to destroy the Torah or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to complete. Complete/fulfill G4137 to fulfil, i.e. to cause God's will (as made known in the law) to be obeyed as it should be, and God's promises (given through the prophets) to receive fulfilment. 18 “For truly, I say to you, till the heaven and the earth pass away, one yod or one tittle shall by no means pass from the Torah till all be done. All is not complete He is coming Back again very soon to make the crooked way straight again/judgment. 1 Corinthians 15:27, 28. He redeem us from the curse of the law (of sin and death. The whole Law is called Torah/Instructions. Remember there's a few laws in the New Testament you must study them to get a balance. The reason why the Messiah made disciples was for His taught ones to teach man by walking as He walked, making His paths straight. To deny the whole Torah is to deny Him. He is the Word made flesh. Andrew Kibler You can't but when you trust in Yahweh, as the Messiah did, his Spirit can cause you to will and do all his "Ways." The Messiah Yahshua didn't come to do away with the Law but to do away with sin! Believe on the Faith of the Messiah and have a real Faith in Messiah according to the truth.

+Sharen R Win The commandments referred to in the book of John is not the 10 commandments or the 600+ Torah Laws. The commandment is to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and love others as God loved you first. The Law is the ministry of condemnation and death. You do not preach the Law, it is ONLY meant to show your need for God as you can not produce God's way of life by your own ability to work it out. The fruit of such behavior, if attempted, is cursing and death. If you're going to follow the Law, you better follow ALL. Guess what? You can't. It isn't possible. God found fault with his own law and realized it can not save anybody. Hypothetically, if you could follow it, it STILL wouldn't save you.
