I love listening to you play - do you ever gig in Yorkshire ? I’ve learnt this by ear listening to you but your bow control is something I can only dream off !

I can see why some would get confused on the time with that little stutter step at the end of the 3rd measure of the A part. Curious to see what that would like on paper.

It is a waltz, usually played on the slower side

Beautiful. I was wondering if you'd be willing to break down some of the techniques/ornamentation you're using in Inisheer here. I'm just starting out on the fiddle a few weeks ago and love the way this sounds. I notice some things like the trills are maybe a kind of hammer on/pull off? I've learned a slow stripped down version of this melody but I'm eager to try to flesh it out more fully. But a lot escapes me from this video even when I slow it down! Do you have a course or online lessons?

Absolutely love this. Could I ask what strings you are using? Previously you appeared to be using Eva Pirazzi's?
@KevinLeesMusic8 ай бұрын
I generally use Evah Pirazzis or Larsen Virtuosos. I've recently used Larsen Cannone Soloist and enjoyed them.

@@KevinLeesMusic Thank you for replying. I have been thinking of trying Eva Pirazzi's and I do like your tone.
