Project D are NOT bad guys. They're the GOOD guys. If you're looking for bad guys, try the Evo 5 and Evo 6 team, they stop Project D from winning by spilling oil on the road. Project D is a protagonist team for crying out loud, a Five-Man Band consisting of Ryosuke as the Leader, Takumi as the Lancer, Keisuke as the Smart Guy, and Kenta as the Sixth Ranger. What makes Team Sidewinder bad is their goal to defeat Takumi once and for all and make themselves the most popular racing team in Kanto.

First of all, race them in a simulator before talking shit Prostreet... Anyway, there are no good or bad guys in Initial D. That is just entirely subjective. Ryosuke and Keisuke's goal used to defeat everyone in Kanto, set course records that are impossible to beat, retire and become legends. Project D's goal was basically the same.
