I think that this game does one thing that is really realistic and that is that 150 km/h actually feels like you are really going fast which in other games it feels like 150 km/h is closer to like 50 km/h in real life

That's one cool thing about ID compared to WMMT Towards the middle of Akina there is a section that's a soft left then suddenly sharpens, and you're supposed to go 140km/h+ around that and brake a bit towards the sharper part and it really gets your heart pumping.

That's because the tracks are unreasonably narrow; too narrow to race on, actually. If you want to feel the need of seatbelts, I recommend watching a Monaco f1 on-board 😉

Initial D Arcade Stage was my memories. I remember i started playing ver 3 , but ended at ver 5 before played MT5DX+

Correct me if I am wrong For Aero Parts wise, IDAS1 to IDAS3 (and Special Stage and Street Stage) uses Aero Courses (basically fixed aero, after full spec you can change certain aspects of the car) Then from IDAS4 (and Extreme Stage) onwards you can freely modify each individual part with points

Quite a interesting history, Maximum Tune arcade came out 3 years later to Initial D and yet Maximum Tune series arrived around the 80's while Initial D was around 1992. Edit: I forgot there is ALSO Wangan Midnight R, Which came a year after Stage 1st.

i was forced to stop at AS4, AS5 never came to Canada and i wasnt too crazy but i still liked AS4 a fair amount. Ver.3 still is the best that ive played. i stlll pay(ed) the maximum tune series along side Initial D but always preferred ID to MT anyday.
