Whenever I got sad or bummed out I would drive to a local harbour and sit up on the hill overlooking the coast and listen to this song and other sad initial d songs in a playlist I made and I’ve had some of the most deepest thoughts with myself during those times. Man imagine this is the soundtrack that plays on Second Stage instead of other soundtrack, when Takumi blow up his engine, standing there, look at his AE86, until his dad arrived with a flat-bed truck, and later he ask his dad can our old 86 engine be fixed, but he said no, and then Takumi cry... That would be 10 time sadder than the original soundtrack they use.
