well it was a slow exit after but i didnt spin out

Yeah it looks like he had to correct too much and lost speed

no disrespect to the driving by any means but not an inertia drift at all for a couple reasons, starting with exiting the first corner too slow, forcing you to straighten out before the next corner, then initiating essentially a skandi' flick into the coming corner starting a new drift with its own swung inertia, to perform a 'true' inertia drift like in the show, you need to be going fast enough that you could easily overshoot the coming corner, keep steering away from the upcoming corner to get yourself as far to the outside of the corner as possible still keeping that slide, then blip the brakes and steer harder to shift the weight letting the car align to the coming corner in one motion without catching traction or straightening out, and ease off the gas, letting the built up speed and momentum carry you through the apex and slow you down enough to keep you on the inside of the corner, to which you open back up on the throttle and power out of the corner carrying you to the outside of the apex for the most speed. happy driving!

These people are milking the sht out of kainsei drifto.

i mean u kinda stopped doing the inertia drift like half way through-

you kinda just drove straight

What difer a normal drift from the inertia drift? I mean, both use inertia.
@GT7Takumi6 ай бұрын
I think the show was trying to reference more so when you swing the car (using inertia) rather than initiating a drift normaly with the likes of a clutch kick or simple over steer.

@@GT7Takumi a 'normal' drift is initiated usually with throttle, or excessive braking on turn-in to forcefully throw the car off balance and oversteer directly into the coming turn rather than settling the car, braking to slow down, then initiating the next drift. in the show they are looking for the fastest speed without necessarily drifting, takumi's inertia drift is done to slow the car without using the brakes (except for weight transfer) to immediately start sliding for the next corner, this video didnt do a good job representing a true inertia drift as you can see him pause and reset before entering the next corner, a true inertia drift uses all of the momentum from the previous corner and throws as much of it as possible into the next corner
