Just a few months ago I was listening to this song on repeat on the way home to hang out with a friend of mine. We both have a strong connection with each other with cars and would hang out with each other often. I came home later that evening only to discover that on way home there was a fatal crash and drove past it ,you couldn’t even recognize the car it was so bad. The Devil Z is the Devil, so Takumi's AE86 machine is an angel. they are both opposite in fate and in characteristics. The Devil Z, it is designed for fast driving on highways over 300 kilometers per hour. and the Takumi's AE86, is designed for racing on mountain roads and they are both different... The devil crashed in many Accidents and Hachiroku blew up the engine twice that they had to go through such ways. only a true person can drive cars with such characteristics, the ability to use techniques, skills, and keep everything under control.

A large tree branch hit my car while I was driving and my car went into a pole. The vehicle was totaled but I was unhurt. It’s been in the family for 18 years and held great memories. As I waited for the authorities and my parents to arrive, I sat at the base of a nearby Oak and took out my phone. I played Rage my dream as I cried in the forest with nobody around to hear me. When I was a kid watching this 20 years ago, I never stopped chasing a dream. I only had one dream, which was to own my dream car, an FD RX7. I saved enough after I graduated to buy a mint low-mileage R1 when I was 24 years old (back when they were less than $20k). Back then, I lacked the mechanical know-how and driving skill to tame such a beast. And now that my Miatas have trained me for the last 10 years to be a much better driver, the FDs are out of reach. As perfect as the ND Miata is, I will never stop to rage my dream until I can build and race my dream FD again! (Crazy how an anime can have such an impact on people's lives)

the first time i watched initial d was in 2006, hhhh it's been 17 years and i am still watching it again and again as it's the first time, i am having tears in my eyes 😭😭😭

sometimes i think im like takumi, at 18, i got my dads last car, and he bought new one, its an astra h, very slow car with 1.3 and 80hp, but my dad gave it to me with brembo brakes, best suspension, 115hp, sports air filter, clean and new, and michelin tires, at the time i was fast, but new nothing about cars, then i start styudying and, bought a simulator, im 21 and basicaly a pro in circuit, but in real life, every week, at least once i downhill my local mountain, at crazy speed, for me is normal, but if a see in video is scary, limit is 50, i go 120,130 in some sectors, 60 in harpins, i masterd seeing cars coming ahead so i know if i can cut, i dominate that track, is aroound 6km , and my averrage downhill is 1,40minute, sometimes i have more passions, sometimes im sad, but i always drive there, today actually i drove at amazing speed, on the brake limit, man, i dont know how i didnt feel a single hearbeat, i was so calm but i could died, i was doing corner at crazy speed, but a car was also coming very fast so i see him late, i was going to cut, but i went to my lane, i was on the grip limit and there as a rock on track witch i couldnt avoid, and i felt 1 inch form other car, and felt my car was going out de road, somehow, i catch him on the limit, but what suprised me was that i didnt panic, i just contorlled the situation, my dad also drive fast but not as crazy as me, i dont know if i have to stop it, but i cant avoid it

I just realized something. Takumi never used his (Original)special ability in the final race. He never read his opponent’s movements. The ability I’m referring to is what called him to be dubbed a monster by the rally girls. Double Edit: Another realization Here's why blind attack works - the races are at night, and their cars are using tinted windows, combined with the tint of the rear view mirror to minimize glare. Thus, the rearview mirror is just about useless at night unless the car behind you has their lights on.

The most ironic part of the whole final battle sequence was that the main reason the kid was so good is also the main reason Takumi was so good on Akina's downhill.

@Rishaan Haldar i usually use Hulu but it only has the first 4 stages although they're in full quality. You can watch the entire series on 9anime which is free but its compressed

Hoenstly, I'm not surprised. His ability to take risks beyond an average human-being made him such a good driver and that very ability brought his racing career to a halt. And the decision to leave Motorsport was on him cuz he wished to pursue something more than his own achievements and I'm glad that he was Kanata's teacher and a very good one at it!
