Wow, a very amazing conversation with an owner of MG Hector Facelift 2023 Petrol Manual vehicle. He has recently bought it in Nagpur and will be using it in Bangalore.
My friend Sanket Ganvir owns a Red MG Hector and has done about 1000 kms with it. He has shared his initial ownership review with me while I also drove his Hector in city traffic and highway. Actually Hector is the family SUV car and it was made for Indian road conditions and it is not an enthusiastic car but it is a Sturdy built-up quality, comfortable ride quality and more spacious SUV car in the Segment. So i had booked The New MG Hector Next-Gen CVT Sharp Pro variant without ADAS Features and it fulfill my requirements...👍👍👌👌

forget the mileage quotient !!! my creta 2k17 1.6 has 123ps this one in 2023 has 143ps 1.5T feels impractical choice for seating 5 adults. I was earlier thinking about swapping of handle but for just 20ps additional i have stopped minding this car. But I still give thumbs up for the design and asthetics thats true.

I have observed one of major cons after use of 3 months - 4000 kms for Savvy Pro Auto, ADAS. Lot of echo/humming noise is coming at normal speed (20-80 kms) in City or highway in front seats. This is not giving a comfortable ride and headache starts after constant drive of over 1 hour. Has anyone observed this issue?

Lol! i am going through exactly what this man did. I have booked Jimny and thar RWD (waiting 2 years+), then upgraded to thar 4*4 diesel (19 lakhs on road Bengaluru) and now I am thinking the same, if I am spending 20 lakhs (after mods) might as well upgrade to a Harrier, hector etc. The only issue with Hector is its single digit mileage and high cost of Diesel variant.

Secondly TATA mein jitna bhi diya hai usmein bhi defects aa rahe hain like kabhi Infotainment system bnd ho jata hai kabhi witing mein issues kabhi brakes pads jalne lagte hain. PAINT mein within a year rusting issues report ho rahe hain. There is no such problem in MG and they treat you like a king. Choose Wisely.

Chinese company Chinese hi rahegi i have use so many Chinese premium product. But after some years they stop working. After some years. Many problems will start come in mg vehicles. You can't expect reliability from MG if MG operates their operations for 10 year in India and their cars proof themselves reliable then only we can trust on mg. Like Toyota , Mahindra , Volkswagen. MG interior is very much good but engine is important for car.

Bhai comment karne se pehle ache se facts padhke aur samajhje aao, fir bolna. Its not a china vehicle or not made in China. MG is a british company who just made a colab with China SAIC company and btw now MG has reduced the stake for China and collaborated with JSW (Jindal Steel). MG cars are made in India now and are being manufactured in Gujurat plant. Pehle apne facts clear kar fir comment karna. Aur waise b adhe se jyada chiz jo hum use karte hai woh sab China me banta hai. Anyways, if you are getting a good and affordable product per your budget then atleast encourage and try to be happy. Criticize karke kuch nahin milega. I own a Hector Plus 2024 and i can blindly say that this vehicle is just awesome and at par with other vehicles in the D1 segment. I own it and i know how it performs and its build quality.

sabse pehle hrr company ke parts comes from china. 2nd company tbbi chal payegi aggr log uski gaadi lenge. 10 sal aggr koi gaadi ni lega ye soch ke 10 sal wait krna hai to market me koi company aa hi nhi sakti. And Mg hector is more reliable than hector and xuv700. electronic me to koi competition hi nhi hai. Harrier me bss diesel isliye atta hai kyunki tata ke petrol engine are so shit. After 5 years, viberations plus sound plus refinement sbb pya chal jayega. Mahindra ke engines ache hai prr unka tech bekar hai. Plus mahindra tata ki service ka sbko pta hai. Even after buying 20L plus car, you literally have to beg them to address you issues. Plus Mahindra black me kese apne parts bech raha hai.

Why were you driving so fast on city roads...? Just because you were driving a big car doesn't give anyone entitled to own the road....! Hector is a reasonable car but guzzles fuel like anything....owner will know when he starts using this... Not sure why he bought it in nagpur but intends to drive in Bangalore!... obviously road tax is one...!
