Great video my friend..! I like the format as its kinda like a kit review/construction in one. Its nice to see all of RFM fixs pointed out.plus seeing the 3D printing is awesome.(nice tracks Adam )so is the tiger your building like tiger 131 at Bovington ??? I have RZM "the tiger file" dvd which shows 131. Up close and in HD COLOR.anyway this tiger has a small bevel under the rightside (looking at the front) mantal.just the right side tho.they point this fact out as ALWAYS being missed in armor kits.and your 3D wheels are spot on as seen on this tank.thanks for sharing.cheers

Thanks Timothy! Tiger 131 is chassis no.122, between this and mine a lot of small changes happen. I will cover this in detail up the timeline it is mine here -> H2 -> Tiger 131. If it works out the way I want to do these builds, you guys will get the full picture of what changed over time. I do have the Dragons Kit of 131 already here : ) That bevel is clearance for the antenna socket of the by than canceled Porsche Tiger, that's why you often read Tiger P mantlet. On my build here this tiger was produced before the last contest of Prosche vs HWA (late Oktober '42), it still was kind of the thing back than and Tigers were still limeted to 100pcs per first contract.

@Tankbrusher3 жыл бұрын
Hey Rick. That early Tiger is a nice kit! Somebody warned me here in comment section that they didn't change as much as they did with the Initial production. I love the idea of a good full interior Tiger, but somehow I want it to be 1/16 scale and a "cut away" hull : )
@rickmoreno68583 жыл бұрын
@@Tankbrusher I like it just the way it is in 1/35. I can barely afford full interior kits, plus I won that kit for half the price it would be in store. With shipping it was 70 bucks, I got a smoking deal, won it off a fb model auction page. I will wait to build it, not until I get those parts that are missing and my ab skills get a little but better, I dont want to ruin an awesome kit. And to be quite honest RFM should have added for free those missing part, I mean if your spending about $100 on a full interior kit, they should have at least given those sprue. But in the end I'll purchase them as I want my tank to be as close to accurate as possible .

Interesting you said that about the H1 I build the Eastern front full interior kit to an accurate H1 and not an ausf E too! It's one in my old friends books he's been a modeller for 40 years got hundreds of books and the RFM kit was more accurate for an H1 than an ausf E for Kursk! I have all the photos etc of the real tiger to my build it's all accurate without them smoke discharger mounted on each corner and the rear exhausts one thing that's different on my build I copied from the real thing it has a notek on the fender! It's a strange feature but when show the model with the photos as shows it really interests people!

@Tankbrusher3 жыл бұрын
; ) you will mange. All crew-hatches can be displayed open. The Commanders hatch will rest a the wrong angle by about 10°. Gun is elevating, you need to make your own bearing for both gun and turret. Good luck with your RC conversion.

Maybe the box say its initial version but its wrong, initial had no side skirts and no feifel filters and a very different storage bin on the turret or no bin at all.
@Tankbrusher Жыл бұрын
For an umbrella term you can count the first ~20 vehicles as initial production "early" isn't very perceice either... They share that stuff was still figured out, initial wheels, mirrored track... and Ausf. H1 designation. However, if you want to categorize futher than this one would be a post-initial, calling only the first Abt. 502 Tigers "Initial". That's what I go with by now. This Abt. 501 Tiger arrived at the barracks looking very similar to the 502 Tigers, aside from it having the later hull sides. No skirt mounts, no Feifel mounts from factory. Most of the features you named like skirts and Feifels were not factory mounted. Idnk when exactly they where outfitted and painted, but it looks to me like this happed previous/during training for Africa. In Italy they already looked like we know them from Africa.
