You are literally the only person I've watched who has actually explained what this fragrance smells like. Everyone else just says it smells great and boozy....thats all. I'm glad you mentioned the leather laying close to skin when I first got this fragrance that bothered me so much. I would watch endless videos to see if anyone else got the same and they never mention leather, so I thought I was insane 🤣

The thing about this fragrance is that it draws you in. It’s sexy, spicy, and mysterious and makes people want to lean in and take a deep inhale to really smell it and try to figure out just what you’re wearing. It’s somewhat similar to Layton in terms of sharpness but that’s it. Amazing scent.

@@rvsticolive and I just got home and got my package of Side Effect haha. What an intoxicating scent. Got a sweet leather rum in the opening and about 20 minutes later the vanilla is really showing. You are correct. There is a sweet leather smell when you’re sniffing your skin but in the scent bubble this is soo intoxicating. I don’t know what I was thinking comparing it to Layton. I agree with you saying you just want to take a bite out of something. Sorry for the long comment haha.

Hello, I think this particular fragrance doesn't project much in general. The one I had in the video was at least from last year or prior. As far a the longevity, I wouldn't know how the newer batches are performing =/ (sorry).

What’s your thoughts on Parfums De Marly Carlisle (for a man)?? some say that it reminds them of Side Effect lol. I Dont know if I agree but, I guess a much more refined and masculine version of it maybe.

Hello! I do not agree either. Honestly I have smelled almost all of Parfums De Marly for men and the only ones that were love at first sniff for me were Sedley and Oajan. Even though they are sister companies, Initio has better performance. Hope this kind of helps!

@@unheardxeno9856 I think it so boozy and sensual. The dense notes makes it perfect for these cold Midwest days. My wife likes it on me. The longevity it outrageous on my skin. I have scrub it off. I made a mistake and sprayed 4 times and I was in a small intimate environment it might of been to much for that setting. All in all I give it a 8.5/10. Beautiful, bold of a blend.
