In order to keep costs down, you could use 3 parts American Floetrol to 1 part Aussie Floetrol for the cell activator...😊

Great info. I just got my Australia floetrol and I used it to mix with all my colors like you would American. Did a swip and it was an utter failure lol. I just couldn’t figure out what all the hype was about this great cell maker. This clears it all up. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

Tammy, i have trouble with consistency due to poor eyesight. What brand of white paint did you use with the Aussie Floetrol, please? I have Amsterdam T white and Aussie floetrol atm... Would your 1:3 ratio work out the same consistency? I think I could judge all my colors from that, if I knew it was right. Please could you help? 🙏

You could use the consistency chart. She has one somewhere on this channel. It's a piece of paper and you out your mixed paints in a circle on the edge then lift the paper straight up n down and see how far the paint travels. That's where the "this is about a 6" or "these are mixed thin to a 9" comes from. It's referencing that consistency chart. Maybe someone will see your comment and have a link to one of the videos she has showing it. Or browse through her videos and see if you can find one about paint consistency chart. Or you can just do it without the chart. I used to save cereal boxes and cut them up to test paint consistency or colors or use them to try color combos using just a small amount before doing it on a bigger canvas. I used them for resin too. They work well for swiping, scooping up table paint, corner protectors when you're tilting, all sorts of stuff. That's was extra info. lol. But I hope this helps you!😊

I love following your videos and I simply have to ask you a question that I hope you can answer. I have just started on pearl pouring and have succeeded in getting the pearls. However, if I wish to add more colour / play with and rework the composition and colours a bit, how do I avoid leaving holes when I make a line or similar, or avoid mounts with too much paint on the canvas ? I am inspired by SaraTaylor who always plays with the colours after pouring, but I don’t understand how the surface can still look so even afterwards ? Do you have any videos on that ? Or know someone who does ?

You do NOT want to put water in your acrylic paints. It breaks down the paint and the ability for it to bond. It may look ok at first, but it won't last.

It actually wont do that if you add very little (a small squirt) at a time and stir well. When you just pour in water it will do that....its sooooo very important to just add a pinch at a time and mix well

I think you mean that it dilutes the binders. However, if you buy quality soft and hard body paints you can add up to 30% water without compromising the binders. Obviously adding water to craft paint is a bad idea.

17:32 You can always let it dry and make skin jewelry or even entire paintings with the dry skins (waste) 😮😮😮😮 It's only waste if you let it be. Think outside the box. I use it to do vases and jewelry.
