14mm wrench (for removing fuel line)
10mm (for battery)
Replacement injector
Picking tool (For removing connector)
e14 (for strut bar)
e10 (for injector bracket)
INPA (For coding)
Strut tower brace to strut tower - 60 Nm
Centre bolt for strut tower brace - 100Nm
Injector line to injector and fuel rail - 24Nm
Torque Specs for injector bracket: 13nm

I recommend getting an injector puller kit you can get a good one of FCP for a little over $100. If you wiggle the injector while pulling it out you can oval out the port in the head which is a real pain in the Johnson to fix. The puller kit also comes with the tool to compress the injector seal.

@@amirholmes-qi4fd didn’t happen to me I’ve just seen it plenty of times the fix is drilling out the hole larger and tapping it to put in a bung to make the hole circular again. It’s a complete pain in the ass and you have to be super slow and careful while doing it because if you allow metal shavings into the cylinder you’ll damage the pistons, cylinders and/or valves and turbos. Bad news all around not something to mess around with just buy the $100 kit that comes with the puller and seal seater.

You know your little video on this was probably the most helpful and clear video on this I've seen and I've watched about 10 of them LOL. Right to the point and no fluff. The only thing I though was missing was the torque specs on the bolts. But we can look those up ourselves. Thank you! Oh and one way of easily removing the injector is to use the pick tool (or one with a bit longer "J" or "L" at the end) and put it under the injector where it can be used to pry it up and it will come out just nice! Question: What did you do with you paddles?? I don't know if they work fine but if they do i want to do it too! Please let me know if you would be so kind.

If the injectors are brand new, they always come with seals. If you're using second hand injectors, ALWAYS change the seal

I bought an injector, it's a bmw injector and it has the seal but do I have to press the seal even tho it's on already? Seal doesn't look tight and wondering if it need to be pressed on first

Sometimes when they have the cover it’s already compressed into place. But if anything, it doesn’t hurt to do it a bit more :) I never had any issues with mines

Hey! Some versions of inpa do not have this option in the "English" Menu. You more than likely need to download another version. The one that has it is the one by Bimmergeeks. so lame that you did not just show the electrical plug harness removal, when you thoroughly had so much to say about it. Twice you could have just shown it, but instead you BS'ed your way out of it. Think about the value you bring when you can show someone with less experience than you just how it's done instead of just talking about how it's done and then not showing it. Try again.
