That Metallic Blue is from Tamiya's PS line of paints designed for poly-carbonate (lexan) bodies. Don't you need a TS paint for a hard plastic body?

Tamiya's PS colours are for lexan bodies. They say if wanting to paint a hard body then use TS series.

Good day, Primer must be used before blue painting. White case can be seen through the blue paint in direct light. With the primer blue colour could be more qualitative.

I recently bought one of these bodies, amazing details. It's best to assemble all the body purse and paint them together then paint the accessories separate. I wish I could post a pic of it.

For your next paint job Gloves, hand grease is a pain in the A$$ Acetone Primer A May i was cringing seeing the fresh body scratching over screws in the table

You can use PS-16 on these plastic kits? It says it’s not meant for it..? What could go wrong ?

That will depend on the way you apply it on the body, after 2 years mines are still okay

Yeh as mentioned below did not use a primer. Also did you wash the body before sanding. ??

Ian Taylor no I didn’t wash the body because I used soapy water with the wet sand paper So far the paint is holding up without primer 👍🏾

Sand paper for prep is too fine. You have not used primer and TS paints are what you want.
