Great video. Someone in Texas, USA under the youtube channel hog zombies shot a hog with a wound like that but it in the abdomen and had healed , but looked like Zofia's fresh wound. In the Texas hog it was an aged wound it was determined possibly from a gunshot wound. I am glad Zofia survived her wound and look at the self healing and holistic approach to taking care of herself. Really enjoyed it.

Holy moley!! I am absolutely astonished at what I've just watched! Massive muscular tissue damage, an open (gaping!) wound that should, within days, (if not hours) have induced mortification (infection) and ultimate death! Instead, what we saw was what can only be described, as a seeming 'regeneration' of affected tissue with fairly little permanent scarring even! I am silenced totally, I would confidently have said, that the most obvious course should have been to have euthanised the animal in order to have minimised prolonged suffering! I am lost for words other than....... Bravo!!

I think everyone is told how smart they are, yet I don't really think a lot of people comprehend that. Love your vids man, it's kinda cool to see vids of these animals besides just hunting ones. Im all for hunting them as well, but this is a nice contrast. Do you interact with them more off camera, atleast when it comes to petting and stuff?

My guess is that mud created an anoxic environment that prevented Flys from laying eggs, thus preventing maggot infestation. Which also prevented wound infection. If she had infection and running a fever, mud would cool it. Long ago in today's Somalia there were Coptic Christian tribes ,but they retained their pre-Christian traditions. One of those was cutting flank steak meat directly from living cow. They would then pack the open wound with mud , until it healed.

Wild pigs are pain to ranchers and farmers. If they get in a vineyard in one night they will eat a ton of grapes. You can wait for them at night around water holes at night here in California, and shoot them to your hearts content. But the intelligence and adaptability of this animal are undeniable. They are spreading across the country. They smell you if you are around. They are fast and quick. They are tough, as we see in this video. But they are also sensitive as we see in the video. Shunned by mom and sister. Fascinating anaimals. And they taste great.

Yeah instead of threatening other humans with violence do the world a favor and kill a couple wild boars. They destroy habitats and are invase, causing a lowering in biodiversity. www.smithsonianmag.com/science-nature/a-plague-of-pigs-in-texas-73769069/
@Nightbird.8 жыл бұрын
James O'Hara Human beings are the *MOST* invasive animal on this planet. We have destroyed countless species to extinction..including other human species..polluted our land, water and air..and are breeding so much were constantly destroying natural habitats to create more space for us. Go look up how we are making the Rain Forests disappear with burning..and the rain forests are considered the Earth's "lungs" for humans..not to mention all the countless plants that may offer drugs to cure our ills going up in smoke through deforestation. *WE* are the worst destroyers of habitat..the worst invaders..the worst in killing biodiversity. Hiroshima, Chernobyl, Fukoshima, and the list goes on and on. Wild Boars are angels compared to us. So who should wipe *US* out? Oh wait..were doing that to ourselves already. Going to college and earning a Doctorate in Science & Biology taught me this. I would suggest you do the same so you don't blame innocent animals like Wild Boars when all you have to do is look in the mirror to see the most destructive animal species this planet has *EVER* known.
@jamesohara23818 жыл бұрын
Nightbird We are also the only species who can shape the fate of our planet. Sure you're right to a degree but were also the only species capable of understanding advance mathematics, exploring the cosmos, and *fixing* the wrongs we've caused. This includes introducing boars into the United States. Unlike you who looks at human existence with distain I see the ability to thrive and not just right our wrongs but to spread life outside Earth and allow life to thrive even better on it. But I digress, when did the topic become about humans? That doesn't make the boar any less of a threat to the American ecosystem, which the boar should be eradicated from to the net benefit of said ecosystem. Isn't that right mister biologist?
@Nightbird.8 жыл бұрын
James O'Hara You did a great job of ignoring all the examples I made of how humans are the most destructive species on this planet. That *is* after all what your original post was about..wasn't it young man? And you *did* make a case for destroying an animal simply because..as you stated..you found it "destructive & invasive*..did you not? So if those are your parameters for destroying an animal..and since Humans are just another animal on this planet..then the same rule should apply to us.*That* was my point. Wild Boars have their place in nature..and while you may find it "invasive & destructive*..I'm sure there are other creatures who appreciate what it does and whom enjoy a better life due to it maybe removing habitat that their predators need to survive. As for the incredibly positive scenario you posted..all butterflies and rainbows..you forgot to remember all the people who died at the hands of their fellow men who will never do all those things you stated. I myself lost family members in the Holocaust..family members who will never have children to do all those wonderful things you mentioned. I don't see Wild Boars doing that..do you? Yes..humans are capable of doing incredibly beautiful & amazing things..but we are also capable of doing the worst horrors & crimes ever seen on this planet. And this planet doesn't need us at all..but we do need it. Also..there is no guarantee humans will ever make it to other planets or right all the wrongs they have done. Just look at our current record. All it would take is one nuclear war between Pakistan and India to throw us into a Nuclear Winter that would destroy most of the population on this planet. So again..if you want to pick on something to destroy..I suggest you really think about your criteria for *why* you want it destroyed..because Humans above all other animal species fit your stated criteria better than anything else. And if you really were all about being positive and all the good things humans can do..you would have never suggested killing an innocent animal who is only doing what it is supposed to do..and that's survive..and you would have suggested a more humane solution such as relocation. So..doctor heal thyself.
