Julian Booker I don't listen to Brockampton and I feel like IR already has a WAY stronger discography, I don't understand why Brock just blew up outta nowhere lmao they're not all that
@julianbooker82507 жыл бұрын
Yeezy Yeezy yeah I agree but I understand why Brockhampton blew up and If I had to bet on one I woulda chosen them. A group of young appealing relatable friends with different sounds and a sad backstory who make really catchy hip hop songs and have really good music video production. Is it really a surprise they blew up? Lol

I wish we could also develop and turn the kind of hip hop that billy woods, Milo, blu and others like them into a more mainstream sound, the underground jazz rap with just bars upon bars, occasionally turning into near spoken word, it’s not as near as appreciated as it should be imo

@TotallyRadicalShow7 жыл бұрын
The evolution of their production is fascinating. This album takes a more mechanical, maybe even industrial feel, yet it's still mellow. The vocal delivery is also different and held back for the most part. Ultimately, this feels very tonally different to Floss, which was hard hitting as fuck. I still think Live from the Dentist Office is their best work, but I'm interested to see how they explore this new direction. Not sure how to feel about the album being way shorter or how the last track fades mid verse, but I feel it ties into the idea of leaving the fans wanting more. I also feel like some of these tracks thematically tie into the idea of them stealing a car, maybe going from stealing it to getting arrested in a way. Overall, solid, but not godlike. NOW SOMEBODY GET THAT MELON ON THE PHONE!
@pokejh7 жыл бұрын
Bobby Jenkins I dunno. It seems as their producer steadily increases in quality, they decrease and/or fall off from the initial equilibrium. It was evident in some of Floss, and definitely all of this.
@TotallyRadicalShow7 жыл бұрын
pokejh They've have gotten weaker since the first album, but I like the new sound enough to want to see where it's going. I just hope they have the vocal part improve as well.
