Cyborg feels like the most interesting Regime member to me. He's clearly hurt by what's happened and he wants to keep people from meeting the same fate as his friends in Metropolis did, but at the same time, it's put him on a dark path that he feels is the only real choice. I think he embodies the tragedy of a fallen hero better than Superman does in this universe.

It would have been an interesting flip of the script if he were to lose to Grid because his superman bitchhood had made him lose his connection to humanity and it ultimately lead to him losing his desire to win that has defined cyborg for decades, only being able to defeat grid if he starts fighting for humanity instead of trying to control it.
