Been playing scarecrow since day 1, no one else.. and I will tell you he is the hardest to play with, but once you understand his frames and inputs, he is insane. You can literally kill your opponent with chip damage without doing any combos whatsoever. you can sink into their mind and literally make them choke. I will put up a video real soon

I think that's why they made scarecrow's teleport so slow because when you hit them with the traumatize you'll need to be good enough to link that combo. If the teleport were faster then you'd be able to pretty much link anything from traumatize and that would be OD.

idk haven't played against one yet but what I've seen on youtube best bet try to duck alot and in between activate your trait so that if you decide to teleport in if you get punished you'll still get some damage and also try to use the meter burn roll in when you get close enough to punish them

His trait is your best friend, you wanna keep it active at all times. Do his Burned meter chain grab for a restand, use his string standing 1,2,3 and cancel into fear blast, down-left 3 and then activate trait right after, your opponent will lose health over time, and stacks with his fear gas trait. You can do a lot of shit with that, makes your opponent scared and causes them to fuck up. I am not lying.. if you know how to play him, no matter how good your opponent is, they will choke..

Great video, as a newbie player, I actually took notes. However, once in the lab trying to do these, I really struggled with transitioning DB1 meter to B3. The B3 just sits there waiting until they fall back down. Any tips on the button entry of that B3? It seems like a pivotal tool for Scarecrow.

As someone who plays a great deal of Scarecrow, it just takes very precise timing. If you try and rush the B3 input, you'll just step back nonchalantly. If you wait just the slightest moment after bouncing the opponent with your meter burn Death Spin, you should get a B3 without issue. Hopefully this advice is helpful 5 years later.😅

I hope they buff Scarecrow's teleport a bit, I get so sick and tired of being unable to do almost anything to zoners because as soon as I teleport, if they have half-decent reaction times, they just do a combo that pushes me away and it's back to ye olde Deadshot/Dr.Fate/Greenlantern projectile spam, (really wish there were more recovery frames on some ranged attacks to limit the amount of effective spam possible with it)

djkoala5 yeah use the dpad. Don't use analog. For an even better experience use the Xbox elite controller. The dpad on that is incredible. I've been using it since it came out and would never go back to any controller. Also, if you're on PS4 you can get a controller converter like myself and Super have.

Jake Navarro well like I said, if you have the extra money then get that converter. I only got that converter because super mentioned it and it works perfect. I never liked using the PS4 controller for any game, let alone a fighting game. Some people can, and some people can use a fighting pad which I can't use at all. I just find the Xbox dpad much more easier on my thumbs.

yeah, I've found that to be the case as well.It's simply to slow and doesn't fit into as many combo's as the fear wave. Also fear wave can be a combo starter while plague cant be.

Lower Mainland Guy If your new, and bad at juggling I'd reccomend a zoner, but if your looking for basic and easy combos, Batman anf Superman are the ways to go

So I have a LVL 20 Max Darkside and he's SUPER OP!!! Like really good, he has all epic armour. I also have a level 18 flash that is nearly as strong with some good Level 20 epic gear I wanna equip for him when he's that Level, And I also have a Decent LVL 13 Deadshot, But my question is, should I make ScareCrow one of my mains? Nice! Darkside IS GREAT! He's really good for combos, zoning and Range because there is a lot of abilities and stuff you can get for his Omega Beam Lasers, If you have Level 20 Darkside you will win nearly EVERY MATCH! But watch out for people like Aquaman because they can get annoying
