Damn, watching this after having played Injustice 2 for 3 months and just recently discovering honeybee... It's so cool seeing how good of a player you were already. And FeelsNostalgicMan, seeing how Flash and Bane have changed. Also makes you realize how good of a sequel INJ2 is.

Jay Chace it was because bane used his venom, when venom runs out it weakens him so he takes A LOT more damage

Sarang Bugti combos work the exact same way, but there's no run mechanic

The meter burning is sightly different, in Injustice you input the special move and then press the meter burn button afterwards. In MKX most of the special moves have to be inputted with the meter burn button at the exact same time.

There's more to it. Both parties are given time to assess their health and meter and wager amount of the latter to determine amount of health defender is going to restore/lose.
