I think TIB changed their manufacturer this year. The quality difference is obvious. Even I liked their magnetic box from 2021. I loved, loved, loved the covers this year, but didn't go for it, because I feel it's a little too prompt heavy in the weekly/monthly sections this time + I'm not really a fan of the habit tracking boxes because putting in dates is too cumbersome + no extra notes pages to create my own spreads + I feel the writing space has got reduced because of the design language (boxes for many prompts). I think I'll either pick one from Tiny Change (very functional prompts) or Neorah (minimalistic but means business). Really wanted to get a TIB this year, but was heartbroken and disappointed with many of the new additions. :(

I have Ink Bucket as my main planner in 2022. But for 2023, to be honest, I felt that- 1) Some very important spreads are missing, which I really needed & which other planner makers are improvising and adding. 2) The cheap quality box was a bummer 3) I saw the paint wearing out of the Trinket tray. 4) I long for floral designs, which were not there. 5) I tried emailing about some pros and cons, and they replied that they will be seeing my views but they never replied afterwards 😂

I totally agree to point number 4. I love her floral paintings....i really want more of floral designs rather than fruits and animals and lifestyle artworkss

Yeah! There are so many trackers and very little sections for personal development.. which was the main reason why I used ink Bucket as my main planner all these years.. Also the increased prices and decreased quality spoiled the entire experience.. Regarding floral designs, I like them too.. but I noticed many other planners I picked have florals so this was a nice change.. They didn’t reply? 😂 They are usually good with customer service.. hope they consider your feedback for next year at least..

Love this review! I ordered mine last Saturday and I hope it comes in perfect condition ( not damaged) I live in America and girl I paid more in the international shipping than for the planner! My shipping alone was 4000....so I hope I'm not missing anything and it isn't damaged. I never buy anything international but im a writer and fell in love with this Planner! I want to use it as a journal. Love ur videos

I'm so tired of searching for a dedicated academic planner that has some decoration but does not include these extra trackers, reflections and all. All of this is so overwhelming as a beginner planner. I would love a simple to the point planner that is NOT black& white. If anyone has any recommendations please share

Hi Sanjana! Loved the video. I ordered the same variant of the planner. My views: 1. The design of the planner box is AMAZING. I love the 'big ticket...' quote 2. The quality of the box was very disappointing. My box actually got crushed a bit during shipping :/ I wish we had the magnetic box or at least a box like the 2022 one 3. I absolutely love the planner cover, the artwork on it, the colors etc. 4. Did you notice that the pages were not super white (like 2022) but were cream-ish in color? Wished they were super white to make it brighter but it's not that big of a deal for me 5. I really like the planner spreads, the colors used and the changes made to the weekly plan page 6. I do wish the notes pages were more in number. I have ordered the factor notes planner as well so i will use its spreads, but I think that for someone who was only going to use TIB as their only planner, it's unfair that there aren't more notes pages Overall I am happy with my purchase because I will find a way to use the newer layouts according to my liking. My only complaint would be about the planner box because it comes with functional purposes too.

Thanks a lot Tanya! 😊 I loved the whole concept of big ticket and the good life too! Loved the planner designs too.. no complaints regarding that.. and so sorry to hear about your box. Did you try emailing them? I think magnetic boxes are gone, even happy wagon has just regular boxes this year :( I did notice the paper difference, I actually prefer it this shade but I agree it's not everyone's preference. It's great that you liked the changes made to the weekly plan. I'll share more of my thoughts about this in the planner review video. I liked having all of my goal setting, vision board and a few other "yearly collection" spreads that I create in my Ink Bucket. But this year, because of the lack of notes pages, I need to think another way. It's good that you have factor notes planner. That'll really help with notes pages. Glad to hear that you are happy with your purchase :) Hope you love using the planner ✨

Hey Sanjana ! I totally agree with your views in this video . This was my first time purchasing from the inkbucket and i expected everything to be top notch. I had placed order for the same trio combo during the pre launch. My first impressions about the freebies were just as yours. I honestly didn't like the wall calender as much as i thought I would . I received the planner keepsake box as well as the planner in a torn and bent condition as they had gotten damaged in the transit . However, after sending them a mail about it, the planner was replaced within a week without any issue ! {Happy with their service :) } You're absolutely right about the planner box, it wouldn't be of much use as the box feels flimsy and is not convenient to open . The planner is totally worth the money ! I wish that the quality of the rest of the things apart from the planner was worth 4k . P.S - I LOVE YOUR VIDEOS ! I have been following you since your Inkbucket 2023 walk through video ❤️ I am a fan of your work ☺️

Thanks a lot Neha!! 😊 I agree that their customer service is pretty good. And a 1000% agree with you about the calendar. The concept sounded nice but I don't like the actual product when I recieved. I ordered without thinking because I've been ordering their planner and calendar combos since 2019. Need to be a little careful in the future before ordering.

Hi!! Great video! First time I'm watching one of yours. Glad I found you on YT. Having said that, wrt your lack of notes pages issue, you can always have tip ins. That is, get whatever papers you want and tape/stick it inbetween pages at your preferred location. That way you get more space. It's pretty common practice nowadays with people who have shifted from ring planners to bound planners. Let me know if you need more clarification. Happy to help :). Once again, nice video. Oh interesting way of pronouncing 'bucket'. Do you have a mixed accent? Im interested to know. :)

Hi Sanjana! Am a recent subscriber and I really wanted to stop in a word to say THANK YOU for this unboxing and honest review of the 2023 the Inkbucket Haul. You see - am a big fan of the Inkbucket and have using their planners for the last two years (2021 and 2022) quite diligently. But I noticed issues with my 2022 TIB planner as well: - 2022’s box was a nice illustration, but that was all. - Forget the weeks - but even the months did not begin on a new page and that really threw me off at times. - Fewer notes pages - Their freebies last year had a beautiful sticker book which was LOUSY … half the stickers were cut poorly and I could barely use them anyway. It seems like they have gone from ‘oh no’ to ‘Yikes’ - because I believe that the essence of the brand were the lovely floral and botanical illustrations, and that seems to be missing in their 2023 planner. Their quality is no longer premium … especially when you easily pay above Rs.2000 for any typical order from them, and may I add that it is also quite sneaky to release the planner (and the tempting freebies) so early in the year, but not delivering on the quality for two years in a row. So all I can say… is that despite being a loyal fan and someone who gets very attached to certain brands… am glad that I did not opt for TIB this year! Thank you for reaffirming my choice!

There are so many issues with the 2022 planner and I noticed that I have to force myself to plan.. theres no feeling of excitement and looking forward to my planning time.. I just blamed it on my busy schedule.. but after seeing the 2023 planner, I’m to see why the planner layout and sections isn’t working me.. I’ll talk more about this in the planner review video.. it’s good that you didn’t choose TIB for 2023.. like you said, the essence of the brand is missing.. I also placed the order quickly because of the freebies but the quality is not good for the price paid and I actually regret my purchase.. It’s good you didn’t choose.. which planner did you finally buy?

@@Sanjana_Raj Hi! I had a very different criteria for my 2023 planner, because I travel too frequently and found myself leaving my planner at home all the time. So I plan to separate the planner and journal elements - and use my Vinci Stationery Planners for the monthly, weekly and daily planning - and a combination of the Digital Detox + Simbaa Lifestyle 5 year journal for the journalling elements. Lets see how it goes - am optimistic that I spend every day of 2023 with an open and fully used, functional planner!

The planner looks good but a bit bland in terms of colour and stuff inside. I loved the previous year ones from what I saw from your vids. For the price one is paying for this I think we get more better options for 2023 planner wise.

Yeah there are definitely better ones for less price.. I actually prefer the plain weekly pages so I can use stickers and decorate it but yeah it might not be a preferable option.

The quality of the freebies isn't top-notch..and the planner box design and quality is disappointing, but the planner quality is superb.. i bought the good life planner calendar combo. I really love the planner and calendars . Good that the planner starts with the 1st day of the month. Though there are less notes pages I like the spreads. Now hoping Alicia Souza Planner will have more notes pages.
