Love this card! There is something totally liberating about ink smooshing than a controlled blend. No two backgrounds will ever be the same. Which gives it such a unique flavor when combined with all those elements…

Love this card and how you did the background, The new distress color is awesome and need to get some of that. You had so many different techniques on this one. I really liked the addition of the brads. We forget them in our stash and this really added allot of punch to the card. Thanks so much for showing us the new color and some fun techniques.

Whoa Nina, you totally Rocked the new "Scorched Timber" ink color. Your card is gorgeous, I was memorized watching you "ink smoosh" as you switched colors and inks, the end result is spectacular. The pieces & parts of Ephemera you chose worked great with your chosen colors. I'm both in awe and love with this card (it kinda needs to be duplicated minus the sentiment but then framed) GREAT JOB !!! (I've been meaning to tell you how much I'm loving the glassware you've been using, it adds such a fabulous vintage & eclectic vibe (but I'm a huge fan of both, old bottles are my jam)

Aww thank you! Yes, I am a big fan of vintage; my house is decorated with it. I have a big bottle collection that I’ve been curating for years and I thought it would be fun to incorporate some of them into my photos. Thanks for the kind comment!!

Awesome card. I love your staging with glass bottles. Where do you get your glass collection?
@NinaMarieTrapani9 ай бұрын
It is a collection I have spent many, many years curating. I find them at antique stores and vintage shops mostly. Although I do have some bottles that aren't old, the majority of my collection is antique.

Your background is lovely, but if I add up the cost of all the products you used, that is a $150 card 😱

Want splatter? Pour some ink into your palm and smack it onto the card. That, m'dear, is splatter. Want SPATTER? Use something to FLICK the color onto the card without actually actually touching the surface. You're spattering, NOT splattering! I wish crafters would quit contributing to illiteracy in America.
