I like to see how inks look on diff papers plus the chromatography for each. For every ink, I have 7 papers that I cut down so they are trading card size and they fit into the 9-pocket sheets that then get filed into a 3-ring binder. I have arranged each ink roughly into rainbow order. Since they are each on their own sheet, similar to the col-o-ring systems, I can easily rearrange and compare swatches. I currently have about 130 inks in my collection and that’s what work for my needs 😊

That's awesome! What are the seven paper types? I'm curious!

That sounds amazing! What papers are you swatching the ink on?

I have Cosmo Air Snow, Cosmo Air Light, Midori MD, Rhodia, CVS Caliber (which actually does an AMAZING job showing ink properties for so cheap), HP Premium 32, and regular copy paper since that’s what I primarily use at the office. I bought and misplaced a pack of Tomoe 🤦🏻♀️ but once I find that, I’ll add that to my samples :)
