It's easier when inks have 'series' like Colorverse has. We've also done it with Diamine Shimmertastic inks in the past as they get released in batches: kzbin.info/www/bejne/mJnTfHiJbraEaJY & kzbin.info/www/bejne/l4uVZKdmosmras0 - Colin

The Goulet Pen Company Just a thought. Even though they are "pricey" inks, you may want to mention to people that in your online store category; press, "Special....then scroll down to "Package Deals" there is a set of Colorverse inks (Voyager 1) for $50.00 for 4 bottles. So people looking for a better deal have an option to look for...or at least make people aware of alternatives in your store category to look for a better deal, though the selection may be limited. Just my 2 cents.

This video didn't quite show off just how much of a sheen monster these inks are. Andromeda is 50% burgundy, 50% gold sheen if you use it on Rhodia paper!

Yeah, it's tough with the shooting angles, but Andromeda for sure is a heavy one. Quasar as well when I've used it. - Colin

Yeah, kinda disappointed that they didn't tip the paper after each drawing to show off the full nature of these inks. I'd like to try them, but this video didn't really help me decide what to try.

Andromeda 16 is FANTASTIC looking. I've been looking for the right red ink for my Luxury PENBBS 309-7SF, "demonstrator" fountain pen, and I believe I've found my match! Once again Goulet gets my money!
@Gouletpens6 жыл бұрын
Either Andromeda or Redshift would be perfect inks to pair with that. - Colin
@uqox6 жыл бұрын
Yes, they are both quite beautiful, but (and I know this is perfectly silly to say) I found Redshift to be that disturbing shade of red I associate we being "too" red, like...you know...oogie stuff.

Pretty. But it is unlikely I will ever see them in person during my lifetime. We got to be thankful that we get Parker and Waterman inks at all in this country. And only in blue and black. Gravity, Dark Energy and Black Hole are very attractive.

Sir How do you store all your ink bottles. i am afraid to keep more than one or two or I might break them accidentally. i have shelves and they are glass bottles, and i would not want to break them accidentally. Plz Reply
@Gouletpens6 жыл бұрын
Keeping them in bins in their original boxes can help add some durability. Placing them in drawers is a good idea too as they can't really fall from that. If you're looking to proudly display them, I think that's the inherent risk with that. - Colin

Call me un-inventive on this one. I hadn't considered using q-tips. Ingenious and Talented. I would have gone FAR outside the line with a blunt-tip q-tip!
@kailan1216 жыл бұрын
Andre Nugget It may not seem efficient but it’s the safest method instead of possibly contaminating ink bottles by reusing paint brushes. Using a new brush each time would end up more expensive than using q tips.

are these sheening?
@Gouletpens6 жыл бұрын

These inks mystify me. They're nice, but I don't understand why there's so expensive, especially for a brand that hasn't yet cemented itself in the fountain pen community as a lasting, good quality brand.
@Gouletpens6 жыл бұрын
Bottling, packaging, and shipping all play a big part with fountain pen ink. Each of those are at a premium with Colorverse inks. That might not justify the cost for some, but the ink itself seems to be pretty high quality too in my experience. - Colin
@JoeTehGiant6 жыл бұрын
Oh I'm sorry if I came across rude! To me, one of (if not the) endgame brands is Montblanc, and with that name carries a long-standing assurance of utmost quality and perfection, whilst a relatively new brand is charging about double that per ml. I'm not bashing you (I promise), and it's probably due to my own highly subjective opinion, but I can't comprehend what is better than best.
@Gouletpens6 жыл бұрын
Oh, I didn't mean to come off defensive either, just giving some context! You do get a lot of ink for the $36 (80ml), but price isn't always indicative of quality. Pilot Iroshizuku is some of the best well-behaved and vibrant inks for under $20. Diamine has a massive variety of colors with good properties for under $10! At the end of the day, it is very subjective, so it's whatever works best for your pen and writing style. - Colin
@JoeTehGiant6 жыл бұрын
Oh wow, they're a lot cheaper in USA! Here in the UK, I can only find one vendor, and that's £45 - perhaps it's time to move across the pond 😂 Thanks for all your replies and showcasing all the inks, brilliant job as always ❤️
