Zabardast bhai 🔥 In the cosmological argument when the theist makes the claim that their god is in a timeless state or outside of time then I think that's flawed and here's why - 1. Time is defined only when a change of any sort happens in a system... Now if we take a system before the creation where there is Nothing besides god himself not even time has been created yet . With God in it being in an inactive or a still state ...let's call this state A So If god now "wants" to create the creation...call this state of "wanting" as state B if this transition from state A to B to happens then it means there is change and therefore it requires 'time' .... So , if god requires some 'time' to create 'time' itself... Then either time precedes god or time is an inherent property of God ... And so god can not be timeless. Please me Correct if i went wrong somewhere.... Thank you 💞

@@User00571 no , but my point was not about an absolutist sense of time .... U see time is defined as the duration between any 2 events doesn't matter how much is that ... Religions claim god to be timeless or out of time ... But wherever there s change , there is time .... So god from the moment before creation to moment of creation are two events and therefore change and hence a duration , no matter how small is it ..... So god may have his own sense of time but he is NOT out of time Even in your analogy time in simulation is passing faster in comparison to the time of the programmer but the programmer is not timeless He is also experiencing time ..... Hope u got it

@@User00571 1. If god exists as singularity then u also have to accept : I. God is made up of matter ... 2. If laws of physics fail at singularity then logic fails too and if logic fails then your contingency argument fails too ... 3. If you accept that God has his own version of time then : 1. your god is not as same as that of islam and Christianity 2. the problem that u were trying to avoid comes back ... Because with time you can always define a state S' before state S for god .... S-S'-S"-S'"..... And hence infinite regress......

Let's take first part of Islamic Kalma bit differently.... it starts with 'there is No God' and this is perfectly correct. Then it says 'but only One God'... now the interpretation of this One God needs to be understood, perhaps it means, the 'Existence' itself, the automatic presence of everything.... everything is by 'Default' in Oneness, and changes with time thru evolution...
