To this day I still main inkling. She is just so satisfying to fling around the screen, and attack and retreat.

She was my first main ever in this game, but I had to drop her unfortunately. She just cant kill sometimes. Ive seen her back air a Pikachu at ledge at around 150% and Pikachu still didnt die. litteraly every other character would have gotten the kill for that. Their combos are fun and flashy for sure but when it comes to pulling off stocks they suffer so hard.

Yeah I still find her really fun. I’m quite patient as a player so the killing issue is annoying but I doesn’t really put me off that much. It’s more of an inconvenience cos I know if I just keeping putting on damage anything will kill. I just love how satisfying it feels to move around with her and listen to my friends rage about the dash. I usually try to unstale bair at pretty high percents for a kill like pummelling from a grab bcos it should kill pikachu from the side of fd unless it’s completely stale. Or I’ll just put damage on till I kill with something stupid like down throw

@@fraydizs7302 There is a combo I've seen for Inking that can kill a couple characters at 0% at least, one of which I know was Samus and I don't remember the other character I saw Inkling combo from 0% to death, but I reckon that combo is very situation-specific and probably very character-specific as well.

There’s actually a pretty nice combo off of d throw at around 40%. D throw> RAR nair> jump>bair The timing is extremely strict and percent varies heavily among most of the cast. Even if u mess up the timing, u can probably punish air dodge since both nair and bair have little landing lag

Whatever happened to Inkling mains ? It felt like we were hearing a lot about them in the beginning, but nowadays they're much more under the radar. Cosmos doesn't qualify to many top 8s anymore. And I don't know of anybody besides Space in EU.

Ryan Van Allen Those are both terrible points. If nobody plays a character now then nobody will play them later. And if a character plays completely different from the past game it’s almost like a new character in a different way (example being Larry Lurr and Fox). If people didn’t want to play top tiers as much then there would be no tier list and 15 Little Macs winning majors every month. Another example would be Pikachu whose only top representative is Esam compared to Joker who has numerous players and they are both top 2.

Just a warning if your just getting into smash, and want to try and fail to pull of even the simplest of combos or set ups in this video... most combos take time to set up even set ups need timing and set up. Pro combos happen very rarely, and can’t be preformed without and insane set up. Most people even cpus know how to break out of combos long ones like some in here are hard to pull off. So don’t feel ashamed of using the beginner combos most “pros” use them as well, There good damage outputs and if you can only pull of the really cool ones like once or twice be proud of that! Good luck smash beginners!

Hot tip: If you find it hard to land low bairs, try inputting the fast fall and the bair at the same time (I use c-stick for aerials), makes them much easier to land consistently, especially if you want to bair into a shield or a pichu

Bair to grab isn’t true at 0. Even with No DI. They can punish you for trying. It’s generally not true until around 20%.

I love the edting quality, and the effort you put into each character but these videos always rubbed me the wrong way. My gripe with them is that bread and butters are suppose to be reliably and easy to do combos, most of these combos aren't true, easy nor are they reliable. Again, love the edting quality, but if you want to make a training montage, you should have said so.

A few corrections Bair Grab not true at 0 All aerials combo into jab at 0 (Dair is hardest) Dthrow Nair Nair is never true, since DI out in first Nair, but Dthrow IRA Nair Bair>imagination is way more consistent, gets regrabs, rollers, jab, etc Missed combos Nair grab Uair grab Nair Usmash at 0 Bair/Nair to Fsmash/Ddmash at around mid percents Also Bair into Ftilt and Dtilt at 0 works Bomb combos are cool but not very practical unless you’re ledgetrapping, maybe you should note that bomb on shield is a free grab most of the time Missing throw combos: Dthrow jab at 0 Dthrow Ftilt/Dtilt Dthrow IRA Nair Dthrow Fair I know it was in the vid but Uthrow Nair Bair is very practical on its own, sets up Bair trains on plats too and wince damage Pretty cool vid, but quite a bit of misinfo/very non practical things, but hey, a lot of these other combo vids are really cool tho, no hate, just a few corrections ^^
