After going through some rough stuff the last few weeks it felt so nice to come back here. Not just back to 2, but In present day like this. I genuinely didn’t expect them to include all the hubs in this one game. this was a nostalgia i wasn’t expecting at all considering splatoon 2 was my first experience with splatoon back in 2019… i’m sure others feel the same too!

Yea I wasn’t expecting it either and as a Splatoon fan from the beginning it’s awesome that we have all 3 hub plazas and I can’t wait to have splatfests in inkopolis square again I wonder if Pearl and Marina will play color pulse or some new song just like Callie and Marie got one and they play it every splatfests it’s just so cool that we have all 3 hubs in one game idk how Nintendo will top it off with the next game in the Splatoon Franchise because everything about Splatoon 3 is amazing!!

I just relaised pearl and marina's studio salutation doesnt change cuz to them we're some rando and not agent 8 while the squid sisters and deep cut do a new one for they know who the player is

im pretty sure it changes, in 2 if you played as an octoling it was different from the one if you were an inkling. havent tested it tho

@@That1Legendlol yeah that's why i pointed it out In splat2 they just greet you if youre an inkling but if youre an octoling(agent 8) theyll be more energetic The animation in splat3 seems to be only the one they have for inklings and it makes sense because because in splatoon 3 youre not agent 8 and they dont know you

Same here and Nintendo didn’t hint at it all they kept it a surprise but I guess it was kinda obvious since Pearl and marina were in this DLC also imo Pearl and Marina are the best idols in Splatoon idc what anyone says they are and the splatfests atmosphere in inkopolis square was really good I wonder if they will play color pulse or some new music from off the hook for the upcoming spring fest

While I'm more nostalgic for Splatoon 1 with Inkopolis Plaza, I still absolutely love the glow up they gave Inkopolis Square. It is downright gorgeous and this is the definitive version of the Square no doubt about it, makes me jealous that this place isn't a real world location lol.

@@VIHUSARO858 the difficulty definitely depends on what kind of player you are. as someone who plays salmon run pretty often, I find hoards of enemies to be less overwhelming than my younger sister who doesn’t play salmon run at all. I found certain levels in octo expansion to be pretty hard because I’m less good at platforming. it all depends on your personal skills !!
